There are new fiber lines and fiber housings on the main road about 1.5 miles from my house…. How I hope and pray that they’re bringing it to my neighborhood soon. I’m getting soooo tired of the cable company. No offense to anyone who works for one I’m js.

How about wider rungs for heavy guys. My ladder kills my feet after an hour
This would depend on the type of ladder you want to use! If it's an A-Frame/step ladder, Little Giant offers a number of solutions with platforms to provide much more comfort when standing. For their articulating ladders they provide an accessory called the work platform that allows the user a bigger standing area. They also offer their Jumbostep with 9” steps. If you get into extension ladders it is difficult to offer a wider rail because of space and weight. However, they do offer a 3-sided rung that is flat on top, which is more comfortable than the round rungs on some ladders. Is there someone at the reel pulling the fiber off or is the machine strong enough to pull it? Or do you figure 8?
This machine is strong enough to pull the fiber from a reel trailer on its own! If you refer to 1:13, you can see that the Plumett Minijet is pulling fiber from the reel trailer.
