Brainwavz Hybrid Earpads Installed on Sennheiser HD 598SE
I purchased a pair of headphone pads on Amazon that were advertised to fit my Sennheiser 598s but required some modification. Recorded the mod if anyone needs to do a similar change.
These are the pads in question - great fit and comfort after the mod:

Thanks for this. Saved me a headache and 20 bucks!
worked like a charm, thank you
Installed my new ear pads using this guide, thank you thoughtful sir.
I am so freaking mad that I didn't find this video earlier. ITS IMPOSIBLE TO MOUNT IT AS IS... Just lost freaking money...
Yup. That's why I made the video. Figured at least one other person was frustrated upon taking the old ones off 😄
@@dobromiryordanov3989 actually i found the other way around it. Puting plastic caps inside the pads bedween pads and mesh and completely cutting this fake leather.
But now if you have to replace the earpads again you have to reuse the plastic piece that you glued onto. Won't that be a problem?
Thanks a lot! Your video was perfect as I was expecting my replacement earpads to come with the rings installed.
Cheers for the guide. After watching this I bought some replacements for my PCX 450. The first pad I trimmed the excess 'wrapping' off first, and then glued it on. On the second pad I found it easier to glue it first with the excess wrap pulling/holding it on tighter, and then trimmed once it was set.
Thanks. wondering if this would work on the Sennheiser PXC-550-II...hopefully without the need of adhesives. Great vid.
