Body-wise they look similar is size. Ringtail has the edge and especially with that tail 😜

This was amazing….I was there in 1970’s aboard the USS Reclaimer ARS42, between Vietnam tours, and sat on the beach near the dock and watched albatross take off from those dunes into the wind… never thought I’d get the chance to relax there, even virtually, again. Thank You for this. 🙏

Thanks! Yeah, the Reconyx trail cams I use have two microphones for better audio...
My wonderful cat, who had been a stray when I got him from the rescue centre, had a cropped ear, but I am sure that it was not for the same reason!! same reason!

Wow! I didn’t even notice the rattlesnake the first time I saw the video. Second time noticed the eye glow. It looked huge!
Yeah, it took me a moment to realize...
With those tongue flicks, the snake is taking the temperature of the skunk, no?... the buzz at the end gets the hairs on my neck standing up. Unique situation captured here.
The tongue flicks are more about smell. Rattlesnakes and other "pit vipers" have "pit organs" near their nostrils that can sense heat radiated in infrared wavelengths allowing them to "see" in the dark.
the kitten shaking its paw is so cute <3 seems to be a universal reaction to water for cats, no matter the size
