Sorry, dont like the new interior. I prefer it classic and functional.
The new interior is much more functional as it is more spacious and not so cramped as the classic one. It’s more easy to live in a boat where you can be out of the way of others (less irritation). You can walk tru the boat without disturbing resting crew members. The toilet space is easy to use with a shower and easy to keep clean in opposite to a toilet made in a classic way. Even so with the kitchen. With a lot of surfaces to put utensils on it’s much easier to make a dinner without struggling with finding places to put things on. So in total the boat now is bigger, more comfortable and much nicer to live in. The look of a modern interior ads a lot to that feeling.

I would say that this is one of the most ingenious measurement devices I have ever seen. The simplicity is astounding.
Bara att ta av sig hatten och konstatera att Olle´s båtar aldrig dör och alltid kan göras bättre. Få förstår timmar av tankar och idéer för att inte tala om genomförandet av de samma som den som gjort något liknande. Ej samma absolut bedövande vackra resultat och nytänkande utöver det exceptionella men trots allt en ganska speciell OE 36:a , Matchless. Nu sedan ett styvt dygn tillbaka hos mig eftersom Peter och Monica hörde av sig och frågade om jag ville köpa tillbaka henne! 0.5 sekunders betänketid- vill du köpa tillbaka din själ? Ja tack! Olle Enderlein i sin himmel ler sannolikt varje dag över att hans egen favoritkonstruktion krönts med er kreativitet och genomförande skicklighet. Helt fantastiskt resultat!
Tack Kristian. Jo, Peter ringde mig direkt och berättade att du köpt tillbaka Matchless. Han var lättad över det och slapp oroa sig över var båten skulle hamna. Matchless är fin. Jag fick ju äran att segla henne från västkusten hit till ostkusten och fick en fin upplevelse av hur hon seglar trots att seglen var lite gamla och ett dessutom gick sönder. Inredningen njöt jag storligen av med sina ljusa inslag och med den öppna känslan akterut. Mycket trivsamt. Sedan har det blivit lite kortare dagsturer här hemma som också varit trevliga upplevelser. Matchless har seglats lite och försiktigt av Monica och Peter. Under corona perioden stod hon på land två säsonger. Peter har varit stressad över att han inte hinner med att sköta henne som han vill. Hon har inte farit illa och är i stort sett i det skick som när Peter och Monica köpte henne. Det blev en bra lösning att du tog över och får nu möjlighet att ta hand om Matchless och göra färdigt det lilla som saknas. Mycket fin båt värd att skötas om och bevaras. Vi kanske ses här i Kopparmora när du kommer till båten. Jag hoppas på det.

Most of the videos of these little boats seem to show them dead in the water or being towed by someone with a motor. Seems thier basically submarine pods for into social loners to get away from it all.

There seems to be a lot of side-slip due to having no keel or centerboard. But I like the simplicity of the sail plan, so easy to manage. Yrvind's inventiveness is amazing.

Sad to see Sven cut it to pieces on his Website. Cape Horn is the best place on Earth to try out floating survival equipment. I am planning a Micro Flying Canoe design that will need to be able to withstand heavy ocean weather while landing in transit. It would have been splendid to have the experience from Sven or some volunteer sailing the Yrwind 10.
