You should leave the poles at home, just stick with the bigger equipment and most important just relax and be patient. You will only ever catch the small carp if you keep walking about, changing spots and getting bored after 20 mins. Generally it can take hours in on spot regularly baiting, to catch the larger fish. We work on the basis that all day we are baiting one area where the hook bait is, not expecting to catch, just attracting all day, then at the end of the day is where the proper carp show. Good videos but you really do need to be patient

I live in Australia and your perch what we call red fin came over with the Europeans and are now invasive in most of our dams but good eating and still fun to catch my best is about 35cm👍🏼😀

Amazing fishing lads , only thing I’d suggest is taking your landing net . I went to one of my favourite spots a month ago and took my landing net not thinking I’d need it and I ended up landing a perch close to a pound . If you don’t have one then home bargains in bridgtown ( next to b&q ) do a landing net that’s £5 and works amazingly. Or go to angling direct cannock and they’ll sort you out . Tight lines lads , keep it up 🙂🎣👍

Hold the perch by thier lips. Its way easier to hold them like that and its way harder for them to slips away

Great video guys, one thing the strain line is to strong for that rod, you would be fine with around 6lb line, if you hooked a carp the rod would break, and we done want that, and keep those fish of the ground, the dirt could damage there scales, well done guys, great channel there.

well done mate, try using a lot lighter line , say 3lb test and smaller hooks, you will get a more delicate and realistic presentation, and i promise you will catch more fish. keep it up ...i am enjoying watching your progression and your enthusiasm reminds me of me when i was a nipper....tight lines lads
