I agree- it's FAR more keyboard than the vast majority of keyboard players need. But of course, I feel that way about the Stage 3 as well 😂

@@PatchFoundry you can hear the "chain gang," the most famous sound in the score, here. It's some mix of piano, e-piano, synth and a growl/wah. th-cam.com/video/yjTaX29-dWw/w-d-xo.html All the Les Mis sounds were some mix of presets and settings, and the floppy disc with their sample info is pretty easy to find (message me if you like). Man, I'd love to do that but offering endless new free packs would mean I'd have to structure it using a subscription model. And personally, I hate paying monthly for stuff. I always end up spending more when I do a subscription in the long run, even if it's just $10 a month. I would much rather do what Arturia does, where I buy an upgrade once in awhile to their V Collection when there's enough titles I like to justify it. Hope that makes sense!

I'll be honest- I don't remember how this one goes 🤦‍♂️ I often will play it once for a special in the cover band I'm in, then not play it again. I think I mention that in the video 😂 Going forward, I'll probably need to relearn the song before I make a demo of the patch- sorry about that!

@@lhujke Man I don't know of anything like that for sheet music, but if you check out the "Mega Tutorial" video I have up, it's an exact play through of what I play live on this.

Good question- the morph assign is mapped to the cutoff usually in the Synth section, which is why you can't see it move the cutoff.

I was prob thinking in my head, how would someone get this just off the FOH board if they wanted it, because I do P/T FOH at a crappy bar that just has a crappy 16 Ch Mixer hah. I'm guessing I'd have to somehow split the main stage mon Aux's to them I guess huh?

You’re right- not cheap at all. I work as a full time musician so I am using my Nord Stage 3 a lot (last year it was about 200 shows and sessions) so the income covers it for me. Some do it for fun and have extra income to spare. Nords also hold their value better than some keyboards- mine is worth only about 1k less than what I bought it for about 7 years ago. So that usually means when I buy a Nord, I’ll probably get some money out of it on the backend.

Also, if I was just playing classical music and needed a piano sound, I would probably not get a Nord Stage 4. The action is OK, but to me the weakest part of the Nord Stage series. For just piano sounds with a great action, there’s several other far more inexpensive options out there.

Man, that is niche and unfortunately I don’t have them :( There’s a few good forums out there that swap those kind of patches, and you might dig a little.

That's correct- I HIGHLY recommend backing up your Nord before doing this obviously, but if you do that it's a really quick way to swap in patches without much fiddling.
