Everything about this screams advertisement. Not a real tasting at all. Looks like you slept in that top you have on. No need to spit any of them. That's only for when the taster might be trying so many that judgement may be impaired, you're only having 8 mouthfuls. And you can't pronounce the names properly. Looks at times like you are reading what flavours might be expected just to make sure you cover all the bases.

Lol Alvarinho is a wine grape with around 700 years of history, originaly from Monção and Melgaço, north of Portugal not spain.

DId a comparison between Stags leap Karia 2018 & Duckhorn Migration 2015. Very similar IMO, the only distinct difference is Stags leap is more crisp, floral and minerally while Duckhorn is more fruity. Definitely prefer the SL Could be the vintage, or perhaps the producer? I wont know.... Thoughts?

I am Georgian wine expert, I can recomend a lot of good ones in relatively cheap price then that one. However, I drink only red dry. Thanks for this video ! I am pretty sure that one is also good but little bit expansive 😃 Next time try Shilda's Mukuzani or Marani Napareuli. They both are under 20$ but you cant get everywhere.

I recently just tried this wine ,a 2017 vintage and it is good I found it to be smoother than the last two Cabernets I had .Not overpowering . I previously drank a Beringer and Louis M Martini and both tasted too woodsy

I'm a very new wine drinker I have a question I see you kept the wine open in the wine glass. I thought if you keep wine for a minute opened it would be oxidised and taste and flavours changes But you kept it open till you finish your review

Just for your information as coming from Germany. That is a "Gutswein". The VDP Label shows at the top. The VDP pyramid goes from regular to best. "Gutswein" is the entry level. "Ortswein" is the next higher level adding more quality features that is has to be from an area of that vineyard (around 20-40 NZD). Then comes "Erste Lage" which is a specifically good slope or area with vines atleast a couple dozen years old and with a very good location, hand picked etc., basically german premier cru (around 60 NZD). Then comes GG = "Grosses Gewaechs". That is the Grand Cru of German Wine according to VDP pyramid. A specific Slope, Location, Hill whatever with vines 40+ years old, specific oechsle etc. In Germany, I can get a GG wine Riesling or Spätburgunder etc starting at "only" 45+ NZD (Riesling etc.). A Pinot Noir GG from A. Christman would be around 115 NZD. That beeing said, imagine drinking an Erste Lage or a GG. High end quality georgian and moldavian wines are affordable unlike french and italian wich are way too expensive !!! Even low end georgian and moldavian wines are drinkable unlike french and italian wines from supermarkets wich are horrible...if you go to Georgia and drink local aged home made wine , it is like heaven and it is cheaper than water sometimes !!! People have no ideea how inexpensive good quality wine is in Georgia (they also have great traditional food ) !

I live about 35 miles from the vineyard it’s one of my favorite their merlot is a close second you should try the 2016 Cabernet

Great that these Rieslings are available in New Zealand. I love this Region as well especially the Rieslings. Hermann J. Wiemer Magdalena and Reserve Dry are some of my favorites as well as Heron Hill Ingle Vineyard Riesling, Hosmer Single Wheel Riesling, and some of the Rieslings from Heart and Hands and Dr. Konstantin Frank. The area is absolutely majestic in late September to Mid October when the leaves are in full bloom! If you prefer Dry Reds the Cabernet Franc is splendid as well.
