In this game, beating bosses without taking any damage gives you a bonus item drop. Some of them are quite powerful and will make the rest of the game easier. This absurd wave of bosses was *hard* and took me quite a few tries to settle into a good pattern for dealing with everything. Note that this isn't the old version where you can just chug down all 20 elixirs as you faceroll your way through everything. Wonky as the controls for this game may be, I find it oddly enjoyable. It was one of the more satisfying games to come back to and finally clear...10 years later. Better late than never I guess!

The main gimmick to this fight involves exploiting the 20 BP recovery every round to lay on the damage combined with the need to counter-interrupt Seven Swords to avoid getting hacked to ribbons. Luckily, the right units can auto you through it without any real risk.

詞がついても良いくらい、切ない曲ですね。作曲者の伊藤賢治さんは戦闘曲が有名ですけど、フィールド曲も名曲残していますね。
