What is your opinion on freebies crossing a certain limit which gives rise to inflation. As happened during the UPA regime the increase in expenditure of government stimulates growth but leads to rise in prices. What percentage of government revenue should be used for giving out subsidies so that people don't suffer and on the other hand it also does not lead to inflation. Another question is if there is an increase in fiscal deficit we may become debt ridden and how do we come out of it

The British industrial and middle-classes of the 18th and 19th centuries were interested in the immediate problems of 1) getting the vote for ordinary citizens; 2) getting basic services such as clean water and elementary education into urban areas; 3) curtailing government use of the military and police services for terrorist state control (including Peterloo, the Bristol Riots, and the Merthyr Rising). Slavery was perceived as a mainly United States problem, which the United States would fix when and if it cared to. There was a strong Abolition movement in Britain from around the 1750s, but American slaveholders won their independence in 1776, and after that Britain could do little other than abolish its own slave trade (which it did in 1807). Of course, these days there is a huge amount of dark money to be made from pretending that slavery had little or nothing to do with American independence, or the Alamo, or the American Civil War;..... it was all the fault of Europeans.

When the country has developed now so much, why is caste required now also ??? Every political parties has failed to stop the reservation system in india. Why caste will matter in education ??? Are there no any rights for all candidates to study may the candidate be from General or SC or ST or OBC caste. NEET, JEE everywhere there is caste. Why ??? In case job, there also caste matters. Why ??? Does not everyone has the same rights to do the govt jobs ??? If this is real tgen why every politicians shout that they are for human beings, why they tells that they want to do work for human beings ? If they keep the caste system in govt sector then they can tell that they are for some particular caste people, not for all. Why they tells the lie when they will not give same opportunities to all caste people. Someone told that " Human beings are true over all and nothing are over the human beings". Govt is making division between human beings by making the caste system. If in the time of independence movement, there is no caste system and human beings fought against england by foregetting the caste of people then why in this modern century, govt isnot stopping the reservation system. As an indian, I have the right to ask the question to every political parties.

People wanted to read about their own immediate environment and about the sort of events that they could imagine themselves being involved in. The compass of their world was small and the scope of communication limited, especially about far away matters. You can't imagine previous centuries with the same web of information that we have. And the ruling classes were, whether by luck or judgement, capable of keeping the most unpleasant aspects of the trade that brought in the wealth of the nation far away. Where they were under the British public's noses, as in the factories and poorhouses of Victorian Britain, there were accounts aplenty. But the suffering of people not seen as part of the nation was easily forgotten. In American literature it was different: the slave and the Indian were very real to the public mind and had to be depicted even if they didn't have to be depicted honestly. The list of wrongs committed by every nation is long. The list of works of literature that deal with those wrongs is short. Humans, eh?

As a North-Eastern and a person who did rice farming also, here women and men both do work equally as rest of the Indian states and Rice farming magnitude have to be decreased.
