Magnifique interprétation de deux grands musiciens ! ils ont également joué ensemble le 4ème concerto avec le Concertgebouw d'Amsterdam et Arrau gardait un grand souvenir de cette collaboration. Dommage qu'on ne puisse en trouver un enregistrement... En tout cas merci pour celui-ci qui est très beau !

Hello. I just checked my file again, alas, I actually used the refine classic cd-r to make this video, although I tried the karna one as well some years ago ( didn’t post it). Sorry for the confusion!
I just listened to the last movement and am a bit surprised that the sound of the orchestra (the winds and the blend of voices, not recording quality) is so modern. I did not read the details beforehand.

Who are the conductor and soprano soloist? The lax tempi would suggest late Bernstein, and the soloist sounds like the great Edith Mathis, but I could be wrong...

Only towards the end did I hear the identifying "noise." Before that, I already decided I really loved this performance (the pacing, the phrasing, and the overal sound of the orchestra).
