This is my fav mission in the game. 3 outposts and tonnes of different enemies to mess with, multiple mission objectives. Whether you want to go default stealth route, or mix it up and go loud and bloody, you will get a choice to test yourself. It's one of few missions where devs actually managed to put different weapons throughout guardposts(most notably AT mines, EM mines and rocket launcher ammo) like in Ground Zeroes, which promote exploration in case you aren't able to field all this gear yourself at that point(or when you do some kind of a challenge run). Huge replayability potential. Also, one of missions where D-Horse absolutely shines because of his mobility and utility. .

I liked the game because past certain distances I can guess on how much scope elevation to use above the crosshairs and still hit my target. Meanwhile the enemy is still scrambling around without ever knowing your location

This game is still alive and kicking in 2024!!! I've finished the main campaign, but the "harder" mode stuff still keeps me going! Also, thnx for the share!

I haven't revisited this mission with upgraded weapons yet. my first go at it I had a lvl1 or lvl2 rocket launcher, and it too took out the tanks in 3 shots... so a *sniper* having stopping power relative to that is insane since the recent algorithm change a few months ago, TH-cam has been recommendeding a lot more channels I would probably never have found otherwise, including many smaller channels still pumping out MGSV content, like you a rare TH-cam W

Humanity really need just more of the very same gameplay, with bigger map and more complex missions.
