I have the 2020 118" and it's great van. It's very capacious so don't let the smaller size worry you. It's also much easier to drive and park than the larger high roof versions. You have total command of the road with the great visibility windshield and oversized mirrors. The roof directly behind the seats has a factory stamping for a sunroof. I installed the 15x30" CR Laurence Sunroof, which has a removable glass, so effectively you can stand up in the rear of the van no matter what your height is with the sunroof glass removed. I also installed the Alurack on the roof which mounts directly to the 6 factory installed pegs on top, so no drilling is required. The Alurack makes this van look incredible and gives you so much more storage space. I haul my kayak and canoe on top, but you can easily install a solar panel or even a Cargo Box that again you could access from inside the vehicle with a small Little Giant ladder. Search for Promaster Tank Commander on TH-cam to see my 118" setup, including the best bed platform out there, a removable Werner dual adjustable scaffold that does double duty as a bed for camping and a deck for securing additional cargo on it. It is installed using wing nuts so you can have the van completely empty for cargo only. Also, I only use Rubbermaid totes when I camp. I didn't want to install any heavy cabinets because the one downside to my Promaster is the Lousy Gas MIleage. I only get average 16 MPG and the computer mileage reading and range is inaccurate. I check manually filling up. Don't know if they've improved the mileage or computer on the newer vans but I can tell you this van does not get good gas mileage, and I live in $5+++ / gallon California

One note: small rims with a large tire is the opposite of "low profile". Offroad vehicles are never low profile 😅

Great looking van. I like the look of the low roof better but everyone tells me high roof is the way to go. I’m 5 11”. I’ll have to stop in a dealership and check them out. If looking at used ones,how many miles is tooo many miles? Thanks

I'm 5'5 this would be perfect. How come sliding door only comes on one side? How tall is van? I'm curious if it will fit a 8ft garage?

8:28 he isn't exaggerating. Those vans' turning radius is AWESOME. Not only that, but as he said it is also SUPER easy to turn the wheel. You can literally whip the wheel around to its max turning with one finger. That makes a huge difference when you are delivering packages for 7/8 hours. Don't want to be wrestling the steering wheel around, like you have to with some of those stepp vans

It would be nice to see a video that shows how to use a floor jack at a proper jacking point

New for the 2024 is Transmission: Automatic, 9-Speed (read good gas miles). 3500 High Roof Extended Van 3D most have Engine: V6, VVT, 3.6 Liter.

No electric folding rear-seats, no rear-seat retraction lever from the rear, no auto-hold, no sweep to open trunk, no e-key, no remote start, not exactly commiserate of a $80k car.

Transmission will mostly go out around 60-80K miles. I really want to buy one of these big vans but reliability is just not there. I do small maintenance work and HVAC as a side job. Been using Toyota Sienna vans for a while now. My last one made it to 260K miles with minimal problems.

I live in Great Lakes, IL. I am looking for a Ram Cargo Van. I just can’t deal with car salesmen who go on and on! I will go to this dealership and avoid this salesmen like the plague. I need a salesmen who gets to the point and leaves the BS out of the deal!
