"deep penetration"😂😂😂... Also was this recorded in a mall food court? Whats with all the noise?
Sometimes we underestimate the human brain. For someone who never studied mechanical engineering, this must look like alien technology.
Thank you very much!
Awesome who else didnt know the months were always the same when did they teach that in school 😂
Yes, I would have failed this segment of watchmaking class
Now put this in a $800 watch please.
Great, trying to make a perpetual calendar stick at the moment so this was helpful
Have moved on from the calendar stick to making a perpetual calendar based on cogs but my design is evolving and different than this. Trying to work out my own way of doing it. Still love this video.
And here I am manually changing the date on my watch like a sucker. 😂 Seriously, that’s some impressive engineering to come up with that.
Well, a perpetual calendar also needs to be adjusted, but there are hundreds of years in between adjustations. In 2100, you would have to change the date from February 29th to March 1st, because the leap year is cancelled if the year ends in 00 and it's not divisible by 400. I guess that you could make a mechanism that takes that into account, but it would be really complex, maybe an engineering masterpiece.
Wow, this is truly fascinating
thanks for the upload -- this is great
Wow this would look so cool on my wall….like a wall clock plus a mechanical wall calendar plus a kinetic sculpture….wowo
What is the name this engineer guy and how to find his account?
I think I actually understood that- Crazy complex!
Wish more people would appreciate mechanical watches today.
Learning about mechanical watches made me get one and its my only one. Truly fascinating engineering in a compact little case
This is art, genius and craftsmanship rolled into one. Unfortunately we now live in a generation of low iq morons where this kind of thing has no significance.
Ans that's why I LOVE mechanical (automatic) watches...
Holy mother of earth.
Amazing video. I ask me quite often how the hell works the endless calendar. With this video I truly know it :-) thank you a lot for sharing this knowledge:-)
but whAT about februar there are 28 days?
Wow. Beautifully demonstrated. Thanks!
Wonderful
Watch The Great Leaver.... See the Great Leaver..... Hear The Great Leaver.... Understand The Great Leaver.... Love The Great Leaver.... Worship The Great Leaver.... Become The Great Leaver. Thank you for a great video.
Hahahaha. 🤣🤣🤣
Lol! 😂
Fascinating!! Thank you so much!
Well, I think this is more smart that any smartwatch today
you should find semiconductor internal structure interesting.
It's certainly not smarter, but indeed fascinating
@@mhk5272 it's true
This is alarmingly inaccurate.
The system is not as complicated as I thought but very ingenious. Also, Smartwatches is still smarter given its programing and things it can do. This one simply tells us time and date.
SEIKO Perpetual calendar quartz. Did it too
This is absolutely amazing. Thx for sharing
Thanks for this video, very clear explanation
Very clearly~ Thanks
How this video doesn't have more views and likes than yet another Daytona unboxing video I'll never understand. Well maybe i do but it's just..smh.
Cuz most ppl are dumb and just buy it for status
To add to that, a JLC Master Perpetual in 37mm can be had for significantly less than a Daytona as well. Just an excellent value proposition given the complication and level of finishing. Would be great to own a Patek some day but the perpetual is out of the question given price.

Mind blow by the complexity. This needs to have thousands of views, because I suspect most people have no clue how to manage the trick of a perpetual calendar ( or even an annual one.)
Most people don't even know how a mechanical watch itself works
I'm fleshing out a design, buddy. I'll keep ya posted.
@@h7opolo yay!
Seiko did it easy Perpetual calendar.
