I don't think that's going to work with UK version of MAX G2. It's supposedly hardware locked and you need to replace the controller board, but when you do so it locks you up from receiving any future firmware updates.

Thanks so much man! Apparently this only works with the Australian model, that’s why others are having difficulties Edit: had an absolute blast riding this at top speed however it does drain the battery suuuper quick, I actually went too far and had to get an Uber back home 😂
