It's been a while since I last posted ^^" I apologize once again for being gone and coming back as if nothing happened- I've been repeating this song a lot and it reminded me of a novel I wrote XD. I was supposed to make it a GCMM instead, but there isn't much time to do so because of school... that's why I just made it a GCMV. Summary:
Claude is a nine-tailed fox who has lived on Earth for a hundred years now. One day, he met a young girl named Leora, who comes from a noble family. With her curious mind, she would visit him every day to get to know more about him. Meanwhile, Claude just lets her do her thing as long as she doesn't interfere with his work as a guardian spirit of the mountain. As time passed, Leora started developing feelings for Claude, and he was not so pleased about it. A few years later, Leora became an adult, and that is when Claude began to develop feelings for her without realizing it. He got love-stricken by her and eventually became extra kind to her. Soon, her parents found out why she kept going to the mountain. Her parents were so afraid for her safety that they started spreading rumors about the nine-tailed fox hiding in that mountain, and it was somehow threatening to them. So the whole town gathered and went to the mountain with torches and other weapons to assassinate what they so thought was a 'dangerous fox'. Before they could even reach him, Leora got there and tried to stop them. However, that didn't stop them from having bad intentions. Claude then confronted them calmly and hid Leora behind his back. She was really worried for him, but he reassured her that everything would be fine. A moment later, a villager shouted that he deserved to die because he's a monster, and they might get killed before they could even kill him. Claude was already ready at that time when someone abruptly pointed a bow and arrow at him. Unfortunately... It hit Leora in the chest when he was about to get him. Claude's heart immediately dropped when she did that for him without hesitation. He immediately catches her right away and looks at her with dilated eyes, distraught and overwhelmed by the situation. He was supposed to be the one to protect her, yet he failed. His ever-first love dying in his arms. A tear fell down his cheek when he realized she was gone. The sadness eventually turned to an upsetting one; it made him angry and wrathful inside as he looked back at them, glaring intently into their eyes. He feels a mix of loathing and hatred towards them; he cannot control himself and think straight while he slowly stands up and lets go of her gently. Without a word, he started attacking them at the speed of light. Soon, after committing a bloody massacre, he promptly suffered the consequences of his actions from the heavens. As a punishment, a hundred years will pass without knowing when Leora will be reborn again. He also got forbidden to stay at the mountain ever again and disowned from his position as the guardian spirit of the mountain for a while. He'll be lonely and miserable by the time he realizes that. Nevertheless, he doesn't regret murdering the people who killed his one and only love. Claude waited years just for Leora to be reincarnated again and will be forever loyal to his mate. Until one morning in modern and present time, Claude was taking a walk in his human form when he walked past a familiar face. He instantly grabbed her wrist and looked into her eyes to see who she was. And his senses were right; Calude met her once more-his former lover. A face that he could never forget after she passed away. Despite being reincarnated, she did not have any memories of her past life at all; that is just why she couldn't recognize him.
