@@cushmanphillips-oz3jx this is all set up in my boat now and running, im having a little trouble getting it to not fuel up and run rich in the turns, i got a bit of sorting out to do

@@cushmanphillips-oz3jx fuel coming out the vents is one theory, i was planning on using some fuel line to link the vents with a notch cut out at the top and see if that helps

Solid roller , 268 @ .050 and .780 lift with a 1.8 rocker, ive never had much luck with hydraulic rollers large enough to make decent power in big block boat engines , they just wont rpm . Small block car engines seem to work ok with a hydraulic roller

7000 rpm mate, limiter is set at 7300 , engine peaks at 7000 so no need to run the engine out any further

Hi mate , front end is uc torana crossmember and arm, offset lower bushes to get 6 degrees of castor , spax 2 way adjustable shocks, 900 lb springs, super pro bushes , subaru power steering rack with an astra electric pump , pretty basic set up but it works well

The catch can is for the breather on a boot mounted dry sump tank not shown in these pics

@@jasonjordan4672 oh yep, that makes sense. I'm thinking of using a morosso oil accumulator, simple for the occasional track day

@@sm00thcrim the accumulators work pretty good if set up correctly . I use the larger moroso one on my boat, plumb it into your oil cooler return line with a 1 way valve and spend the money and buy a moroso smart valve for the accumulator outlet , this wont save a marginal to poor wet sump oiling system but paired with a good circuit pan with extra capacity and good baffling/trap doors, decent breathers and other oiling mods to your engine they can help keep the engine alive.

@@jasonjordan4672 I am so happy that there is some vision from that period! Only people who lived it would understand. Rick brought a 1964 Impala Coupe for me in 1983 and I still have it. All I have is some old photo's and a SuperChev jacket. Thanks for posting, trust the family is all OK.

@@stephenwalter5723 yes mate everyone is well , Rick is still an old grump so nothing has changed , he has mellowed out over the years . Ill take a guess and say this is Steve who use to work at Super Chev back in the day then Shannons insurance later on ,?
