I steam fish for my cat, and she has 2 small wet meals a day. Once a week, she has a raw liver dinner. In between, we put out small amounts of kibble for her. Because we live in the tropics and our house is open, she wanders around the yard. She spends a lot of awake time hunting, so her weight is well regulated. Our cat has a good life, with lots of naps, hunting, patrolling, and interactions on her terms

My black former feral girl, Raven, would catch the occasional rodent in my backyard, but it was mostly lizards, and she'd often try to bring them into the house, some were still alive and I'd have to recapture them.🫤 She's a house cat now and she still gets to hunt occasionally, when a flying insect, or cricket gets into the house. 😉

My cat doesn't. Thank goodness, i don't want a clingy cat, just a cute lil friend i can provide a comfortable living place for.

None of this is rocket science, and it's not going to work with every cat. I've had plenty of lab cats but my current cat just wants to come cuddle for a couple minutes and then he settles down somewhere nearby. But if I leave the room, he follows me. That's just how he is. I wish he was more cuddly but I do think it's adorable that he follows me everywhere.

My cat won't sit on my lap or next to me on the couch. He will only occupy the corner of the bed we sleep on. And I'm okay with it. Cats will tell the staff wherever they want to be 😂

My two cats do all that, minutes the gifts, and i feel so lucky to have them. I love them unconditionally and if there's a fire in the house, i i know that i will save them first. But they also bite me for no reason at all without any warning. They go from licking my hand or sleeping next to me to suddenly biting me really hard. I don't understand why. But i don't care , i love them.

I love my dogs, have 3. My biggest dog (presa canario) is 180 pounds. My bed is tiny (down sized the bed years before I got him). He’s never slept with me. I did let him in the bed to try. He takes up the whole bed, but that doesn’t stop him from trying to sneak in. 😂❤
