The thing i hated the most in this movie is that Po handcuffs Shifu like nothing in a scene.

In the first movie the "Dragon Warrior" was a legendary fighter and now it just became a title for the protector of the Valley of Peace? To me it makes sense that Po didn´t choose some random person but rather someone he got to know and saw potential in like how Oogway did with him.

Po is like “I don’t know how to choose.”

Realistically the goat is prob the best choice, considering the rest rely very heavily on weapons; if they were to lose those, they’d be cooked

Tbh, while I do like the idea of the lesson of this movie being accepting change, the idea of Po choosing a successor as dragon warrior makes no sense. Because, if the title of Dragon Warrior is something to be passed down, then, was there a dragon warrior before Po? If so, who was it? This question never gets answered.

Whoa whoa the Dragon Warrior it’s me

At first it seemed kinda jerkish of Po to choose himself, but I recently realized that they actually don't do a very good job at making it clear why Po has to give up his title of Dragon Warrior. At least in Cars 3 when Lightning was told that he had to give up racing, they actually gave an understandable explanation on WHY he had to, because his age was catching up to him, and that it even caused him to fade out and have a horrible crash. Here, however, Po seems to still be a reasonable age to be the Dragon Warrior. I didn't hate this movie as much as everyone else did, but my point still stands.

I had a idea of a better plot for KFP4. Instead of Po picking a replacement for the Dragon Warrior, Shifu instead sends him 3 new students to train, (The Bull, the Pig and Gazelle) and he has to stop the Chameleon. I then had a dream yesterday where part of the plot was involving Po and his 3 students making their way to a Mountain village where they were attacked by Crossbows. Po manged to disarm them along with his students who are still learning but then Po is challenged by a young gorilla as he himself is a kung fu fan. Po obliges and they fight, or more like, spar. The Gorilla chief comes out and stops the match. He immediately gets on his knees and begs the dragon warrior for forgiveness for attacking. The chameleon has been terrorizing his village under the guise of known kung fu heros. Po decides to help them protect their village and asks to be trained on how to use a crossbow. He saw how awesome it looks. The chief's son asks his father to let Po train him to learn Kung Fu as well. The whole scene transitions to Po building his own Crossbow and learning how to fire the arrow. He can't figure out how it works but little by little he gets it but can't hit the target. Then the Gorilla kid is trying his best at learning the stances but he's only mimicking Po. Po tells him he can't imitate him, he has to find his own style. After a while of training, Both Po and The Gorilla finally get it. The son makes up his own style of kung fu and Po not only hits the target but also gets a bullseye. I think Po training new students to become the next Furious 5 protectors is a better plot then what we got here.
