What about your lower jaw?
Only $30,000+ 😁
What do you do about having trouble with breathing through your nose? I frequently have sinus issues. I just can’t get air in my nose.
Wow! Thank you, Doctor. I really appreciate knowing this I’ll check out your channel. I don’t think I have sleep apnea., but now want to get tested for it just in case Very good to know 🌹🌹🌹
They lie it's very painful . Make sure your dentist isn't AFRAID to prescribe you pain pills ( they call them narcotics) they are the only thing that kills the pain .
I got my upper jaw set 4 days ago. They also took out my wisdom teeth, that probably caused a oral sinus communication as i can feel air comming in from inside my mouth. But my doctor said it would heal, if it doesent he can do something about it but right now its super annoying because i cant really drink water without a really weird sideaffect(air).
I got a full set, this day three and feel like crap and super tired. Fortunately no fever but I am keeping an eye on it.
Where’s the before and after pic?
Pretty gal.
I just had mine done a few 4 days, even though I’m numb,it hurts, the first days are painful,I can literally feel the pain in my joints, but mostly the discomfort, headaches
Would have been interesting to hear exactly how it benefited him post surgery in detail (deeper sleep, more mental clarity, my gut issues reduced or resolved with better sleep, etc.) But thank you for sharing
Got 2 of mine removed last thrusday went to work on monday like thing happen
I guess I’m a rate case? I had mine pulled at 30 - top two pulled and the bottom pulled a month after. I got local anesthesia. The process was very easy for both procedures, and I wasn’t in too much pain. Face didn’t swell. 🤷🏾♂️ I ate a sub two days after my two removal 😂 my top bled for about 2 weeks while brushing. My bottom bled way less! My bottom two required sutures in which they had to move a few days after. I was prescribed prescription ibuprofen for my bottom and I found myself taking it more than I hope due to a headache the pain (kicked in about 2 days after the procedure). Top teeth only required OTC pain relivers. Once again, both processes went pretty easy for me. Can’t complain.
I like how he says that you'll get feeling back in your upper lip in a few weeks and "a little longer for your bottom lip". Yeah that "little longer" is 6-12 months. How about this, Google "jaw surgery reddit [numbness] or [swelling]" it pulls up r/jawsurgery, which is an entire community of people who've had this surgery. I've had the surgery 2months ago, my palate, gums, bottom lip, and chin are all completely numb still. Surgeon says 12months before i even get back to 90%. 30% of people have permanent numbness to some degree. These doctors really sugar coat the length and severity of the recovery. Do your research and find communities of people who've had the surgery and listen to them, NOT these Drs and medical websites!. It's a minimum of 6months before you even get to 75%. Swelling is the same 12month recovery to get to 90%+ and its common for it to take 18-24 months before it all goes away.
I’m getting an “all in 6” upper in 10 day and I dread it. I always have pain after extractions and this time it going to be 9 at once. I hate life. But I am glad this exists. I have to be strong and do this. The pain will end and I’ll have solid teeth and no removable denture that covers the roof of my mouth and using adhesive pastes (yuk). I was going to buy a new car but teeth and an old car works for me. Good luck to everyone facing this.
Good luck, and I wish you all the best! I had five implants & 3 extractions done just two days ago, and it's been tough, but I believe it'll be worth it in the end. If you can afford it, don't stress-go for it!
@@sapphire-royal4449 Thanks. I really appreciate you sharing and offering encouragement. I’m 10 days away from it and I have anxiety so bad I can’t sleep. I will endure anything not to have to wear a removable denture.
@@bestself2438you got this!
You 'll have a beautiful SMILE after surgery.. Dont worry.. Be Brave 🙏🙏
@@shashiputhran8605I had it done 5 weeks ago. It wasn’t bad at all! I have the temporary teeth in now. When the gums heal I’ll get the permanent teeth. So far, so good. I’m just so grateful I won’t have to have dentures and the roof of my mouth covered.
Does zygomatic implants can damage eyes?…
Urang teu nyaho artinya😢tapi urang lagi diposisi ini
My lower mandible bone is fractured in accident please guide about operation and recovery cares
They are the 29 to 32nd teeth and for many people especially with large or jumbled ones pressing against other teeth or with poor dental care a risk, and with some people hard for the dentist to clean. Some people are better not having them but others it doesn’t matter so much
I just got 2 wisdom teeth removed and wanted to know why we have them so thank you 😂
Thanks for sharing. I am facing this in about 8 weeks. I am dreading it but this helps.
Im looking to do Zygomatic, because of bone lose, how long do i need to be in town and how much?
Just got all 4 removed and now water is by far my favorite thing to drink ( carefully ) idk y
Hi there, I'm with zygomatic inplants, and I have problems
What kind of problems?
Just had mine pulled out and Im 18. It wasn't that painful but it made me doozy from time to time
Y'all I'm having a jaw surgery in 6 months for class 2 overbite rn I'm 15 some people said that mewing would work to fix it and that I shouldn't go through all that trouble what do I do ??
Mewing doesn't change your jaw composition...if u are at the point where you have been approved for jaw surgery it's cause you need it....the internet will never provide better advice than your own medical practitioners
@@anais937 tysm for the advice :)
I'm assuming you are in braces right now, i have no idea why they would let you get jaw surgery before your jaw is fully grown, that just seems very weird to me. In my own case i had an overbite and an open bite, braces when i was younger 13-15 after they removed the braces they told me to come back when i was 18~ because the jaw is fully grown by then. Instead i said fk it and i got it done 2-3 weeks ago (i am now 28 years old). My biggest tip to you is listen to your orthodontist, dentist and jaw surgeon. And while i'm at it, you might not want to believe this since you are 15, probably brainwashed by social media and believe everything that you see but the whole concept of mewing is a fraud, it's not an actual thing. The only thing that helps define someones jaw is working out and losing weight, making sure you lose the fat/water that is in you face. That is the only natural thing a person can do. Besides that there are 3 surgeries that can help the first one is jaw correction, this means a jaw surgery that corrects someones bite. This means someones bite is WRONG and needs correcting like your own. The second surgery is a chin correction, this is mostly done in combination with the surgery above if it's needed. The third surgery is COSMETICAL, this means purely for the sake of trying to look better in society's eyes. This is mostly a lower jaw/chin correction, in some cases depending on the lower jaw they also move the upper jaw. I wish you the best of luck in your surgery, you're still very young so recovery will be quick but let me tell you, PATIENCE IS KEY. You will look different, but it will be an improvement, you will thank yourself down the line. Again, good luck!
@@thoodd2636 oml pls thankyou so much for the advice I'll have my surgery in december the main reason why I wanted to get braces was cause I had gaps in my teeth but my doctor advised me on getting a jaw surgery aswell cause of my overbite now here comes the main thing if seen from outside my overbite is not visible AT ALL also I don't have any issues with eating nor do I feel like getting it is necessary it's only based on looking better but I've seen how my jaw will look after surgery digitally and I don't like the after results every1 except my doctor says that I look perfectly fine even myself so is it still necessary if it's only based on increasing ones looks which I don't want ? (Pls I'm jst so nervous rn and I need some advices)
thank you
I need to get this operation too. And I can get it for free i min country. But I'm too afraid and probably will never have the operation.
I had surgery 10 days ago 19 teeth pulled six implants on the bottom six on top two of the six on the top where zygoma implants in the cheekbone!! Very painful I’m just sore still have some swelling but overall, this is a painful procedure. I guess it sells better if they say you’re only down one or two days.
I totally agree. I was more sore and achy on the third day.
It’s been 8 days since surgery and I’m home. How long until I can eat anything I want again?
How is it going?
Is there one for Augusta?
You change people’s faces for the better and you change their lives. How they feel about themselves
Is anyone else on a clear liquids diet only? I’m on my 3rd week and I have a feeling I will be on this diet until week 6. No soft food diet so far for me. 🥲
Hey i get mines done in about a month and im also going to be on a liquid diet. How are things going for you?
I had my Jaw Surgery on my top and bottom, and love the results besides a deviated septum (incidental) and almost no feeling in my lips. Confidence went up 1000% however so if that’s what you want along with the risks, take it
That's great! But why didn't they fix your deviated septum at the same time??
@@kzfingerprint i could not tell you. Might’ve been broken before then exacerbated by the surgery.
@@always.entertaining.people1396 Did the feelings on your lips come back?
@@harikrishnan2713 it went from 0% feeling to 2%. I can feel if i chomp down on my lip, but only when im halfway through lol. Trying out some Lipoic Acid to see what cellular regeneration might occur
@@harikrishnan2713 i'm also a month post op but i still haven't gotten the feeling on my bottom lip back. my surgeon says it may take a few months due to nerve damage.
I did General for lower impacted bony wisdom tooth extraction and though I was terrified for GA, after having done it, I completely recommend it. The upper wisdom teeth that I removed with local anesthesia was way more traumatic and it left me with a mental trauma even 20 yrs later.
They want to fix my 21 yr old under bite, I am so afraid tho
Why no one provides the price? How much is the implant and what type of crown?
Hi there! We have all of our prices listed on our website at www.jawimplant.com. Thank you!
Hey everyone! I just had an upper jaw surgery done 4 days ago (maxillary osteotomy) would anyone here be willing to text about their experience or answer some questions I may have? Thanks in advance!
How was your recovery? Im getting mandibular osteotomy done
@@avisena6445 honestly for me it wasn't terrible. The first 2-3 days were easy and I thought that I could comfortably live on soft foods but on days 4-6 it became a living hell and I was barely eating, no appetite and naseous all the time. That being said after a week and by day 10 I was feeling really good. I played golf, went out more again and the days started to go by faster. Appetite wise I could eat eggs, avocado/guac, chili, and by day 15 I had my first lasagna which was hard to chew at first but by day 21 anything pasta-like or softer was v manageable. For me having the elastics in were annoying and made my teeth hurt but it gets better but I had to use 2x extra strength elastics on both sides. Mobility wise it wasn't bad, I wasnt wired shut or anything and I could open my mouth slightly/chew to eat for the most part and this got better fast as time went on. my last takeaway is that you wont really notice how fast time and your recovery after 2 weeks post op. it gets much easier and tbh you can challenge your mouth to chew more and more. its only the middle part of the first 10 days where you get really sick of liquids, the medication (antibiotics, painkillers, etc) and extra teeth cleaning routine becomes really draining. Hope this helps! Let me know how it goes :)
I had 2 implants yesterday, a little pain yesterday a little bit sore today, but I feel fine.
I wish I Had gone to you
Great more antibiotics so over it
I was told to get jaw surgery and braces do I need braces
If you were told by your orthodontist then yes.
Had all 4 pulled out today did general anesthesia and my left side of my tongue, bottom lip, and chin are completely numb and it’s kinda freaking me out
Did you get back the sensation I am really worried as I am getting mine removed next week. Please reply
@@supernova5618 yes I did, the numbness went away after some good sleep the first night but yea it was freaking me out I couldn’t stand that feeling.. I’m on day 6 now and it’s feeling alright the first 3 days are rough everything is very raw and painful I ate nothing but yogurt, applesauce, and mashed potatoes.. Just make sure you’re taking all the medication they prescribe and use the gauze to stop any bleeding if you have any. Good luck you got this!!

Such a good explanation. Thank you doctor
I had 21 teeth extracted and 8 implants put in a Friday afternoon. Today is the following Thursday and I'm in so much pain I can't put my temporary dentures in at all.
i was going to get the same thing done would you say you were in pain 24/7 i need the truth ty
pain meds will help, just keep your med regimen
I had my implants on Thursday. I was exhausted for the next two days. I had pain relief on Thursday and Friday but the pain has lessened in just two days. I feel a lot of fatigue though.
Have you done any cad cam ct based block grafts?
What about numbness after implants are placed? My lip, chin and a few teeth on my lower right side are still numb one month after the impants were placed. The implants have felt fine. No pain. No infection. The dentist said the nerve gets pressured and there can be numbness for weeks, even months. It is not uncommon. What can be done to get the feeling back sooner? Massage not really working. Massage the nerve area or massage the numb area? B Vitamins were recomended to heal the nerve.
It was numb till one month
@@sakinahararwala1226 I'm on six weeks now, but I'm feeling some tingling and some sensations, so I hope it won't be too much longer. We knew there was a high nerve there just belwo the implant, so it's not surprising that it is feeling some pressure.
