      It depends on the waist circumference and length that you are working with but I would recommend 4 - 6yards .

      No, 13 is the sleeve length,it was not divided by two... It was only the shoulder measurement that was divided by two

    I followed this same step, but it didn't work out on chantilly lace,d neckline is too wide i end up getting 21 inches 😢including d zipper allowance

      Oh sorry about that, I Guess That means the Chantilly lace has stretched out, before you were ready to attach the collar. Since it is 21 inch with zipper allowance, then it did not stretch out more than a inch, you can try joining the shoulders with extra 0.25 or 0.5 inch to reduce the neck circumference. I hope that works

    Good evening ma Thank the well detailed teaching so my question is since the front was added extra 5 inches won't it affect the back which is only back half length. Thank you so much ma

      Check 11:20 ,the 5inches extension was connected (slanted) to the side i.e the true waistline(half-length ). So when joining the front and back bodice it will be equal at the side. Also don't forget to close the bust dart on the front pattern @ 12:45
