Well this happens, which is good. O remember my first motorcycle out in California and signed with the motorcycle insurance back then. An I got a letter after I moved that back to where I was from at the time with a refund that the company was over charging people on motorcycle insurance. Which surprised me that they were found. But I'm not surprised it happens anywhere. You have watch out for yourself when doing that.

Insurance is what's killing the industry. A cheap 2nd hand bike is still going to cost a young rider thousands to insure, they may as well just get a car. So as the average age of riders gets older sportsbikes are just too uncomfortable for them to want to own.

Was looking forward to the R9 as I have the CP3 engine in my 2019 XSR900, but it's ugly with those wings and stumpy exhaust. It should have looked like an R1 but with a triple. Why didn't they give it a nice exhaust and the keyless system from the MT09SP?

I prefer a compressor that connects to my bike's battery via the fused flying SAE lead I have for my optimate and keis heated vest (I use the Airman) as you'll avoid being in the situation of having a flat battery and a flat tyre. I also carry the sticky strings, coated screws and spare rubber adhesive as well as the required tools to do the job including something to remove the offending nail/screw and a few cable ties.

next time you change your tyres fit right angled valves it makes life so much easier

Always carry one and a tyre repair kit ..pump works well on the car to .

I work at Demon Tweeks, we fit motorcycle tyres every day and you’d be amazed how many times we get bikes in with extremely low tyre pressures, below 15 psi , and the rider didn’t even know so anything that helps riders check and maintain their tyre pressures is a bonus. Check them every ride!

I have two exactly the same as yours, one stays in my car and the other on my bike, have not needed to charge them for the last 4 months....they are brilliant. I do also use a separate tire gauge too just to make sure.

I am planning on starting to ride bikes soon, would any of royal enfields bikes be suitable for road trips? I live in Texas if that matters, I just love the retro look of their bikes

ime not on the road at the moment and most likely wont be my bike is only a 1998 fazer 600 (in pieces ) so I was looking at a 10k-14k bike H2 3k insurance for only 1k milage a year with all the security options

Hastings insured me then months later asked for proof of no claims bonus then told me that will be a extra 100 quid so I told them them do not auto renew and they started being being nice and saying it will be cheaper next year but I still said no chance will i use you again just out to rip people off

insurance is a nightmare, the yearly game of who's going to fleece me less! bureaucracy at it's finest.

My body is what chose the bike I have. Adventure bike: My knees could not handle it. Sport bike: My back could not handle it. Cruiser: Relaxed position, least amount of body aches, and pains. When people tell me I should "upgrade my bike" in a sarcastic tone, and get a H-D. I just tell them I do not feel like getting a trike just yet. They give me a look like I stepped on their flowers. After attending many motorcycle events at a nearby HD dealership, they all finally stopped asking me to upgrade... Okay, getting late, am I am rambling on. I forgot what the subject was about... hehe
