This was an old video I made for a "party day" that Sheridan High School put on in the spring of 1988. The video is not great quality by todays standards but I thought there might be some alumni out there that might enjoy it. Enjoy if you are one of them.....the days before cell phones!

Started this engine for the first time on Mustang project! It is a Ford Performance M-6007-Z2427FRT engine. 427 C.I.D. that is rated at 535 HP with Z2-Series Cylinder Heads. It was very exciting to hear her run.

Thank you so much for your nice comments. It is not for sale but might be at some time. I can tell everyone that from the frame up, it has been built without cutting a single corner. It is nice to finally be able to enjoy it for a little while.

11 years later I'm in the same place with an '83 GL1100. oh joy. my problem is i hit everything with the mini impact wrench....wrong tool for that bolt. it needs finesse.

Hey there young man!!!!! Thank you for the message. Yes, she is finally "alive" and we have started her a few times. Still have a little finish work to do but she should be on the streets in a few more months....probably have to wait until spring. haha In the snow, she will just want to spin tires. Good to hear from you and hope that you are enjoying your year!

I am dealing with the same problem on an 83' GL1100. I have damaged the heads trying to break it loose. I didn't consider the torch. Will try that next. Thank you for taking care of this problem for me.
Good luck and I hope it works! There were a lot of great comments from other people.....I like the idea of welding a socket to the head, but I am not a welder and have no tools for that. I just did what I could and the heat helped. I hope you get it!

I had the same issue with my bolt on my 82, I sacrificed an old 10mm wrench, bent the closed end. Then I welded it to the bolt head. Of course this was only to get by until I could get a new one.

I ended up at Billings Clinic to get my hand x-rayed.......after the talent show, a speaker ripped my thumb back and I thought that I broke it. I ended up in a splint and by the time I got back to school, all the students and most of the teachers were already gone. Haha Crazy way to spend the final day. I loved getting to know you and you improved SO MUCH for your first year on that sax!!!! Keep it up and have a great summer young man! -Engle

Hey there and I am glad that it worked for you! I "think" it probably has something to do with heating the solder up enough to re-connect any cracks??? Not sure but it sure worked for mine as well. Haha Anyway, thanks for the comment and "greetings from Montana, USA" Take care!
How is your iMac doing two years in after the “bake”? From what I learned so far, “baking”/ reflowing is only a temporary fix.
@@zizlog_sound Oh, it works. A lot of days per week! It´ s really fascinating. I didn ´t believed that, until I ´ve tried it. Only the "Finder" work in an unusually way. It swiched from maybe 30 results of search to 300 results every 6 seconds. Why??? I have no answer. Do you have other experiences?
