Hey you! I also just took some princess doll dresses in, from Ali, which were too wide, but otherwise much prettier as what Mattel or Hasbro came up with in the last years. As a tip to avoid that mishap, turn the dress inside out, put it on the doll, pin it to the size you want it (both layers of the fabric together) , then put pins like a couple of millimeters away from that on each side of the fabric separately, for seam allowance. You could reuse the velcro which you cut away, but the hooks work as well. Though try to use thread with a similar color to the fabric. And practice makes masters. :) but your hair styling skills are unmatched. Honestly. Compared to your dolls, mine look like as if they crabbed into a wall socket.

I also wanted to tell you that the hands do come off for dressing, you just need a heating pad to warm the doll up. then you can pull from the "ball the hand is attached to, not the hand though. The post comes right out and can easily be put back in the four arm

The latest dolls with the hair net seem to me to be even better than the older ones

I have really gotten into XianXian, pronounced Sheon;Sheon doll and her outfits too. I just received my latest order, the doll cost a little more but worth it. I had the choice of getting a box or not. In the past all but one box came damaged. I recommend skipping the box, the doll came very well wrapped. This latest doll has much better styled hair and included a hair net on the hair as well as the plastic band. The face painting is beautiful, the body seems a little better quality. She is well worth the extra money I paid. I also got one of the Xian Xian outfits. Its a Dior style suite, very nice the coat/jacket that fits very well, well sewn, with buttons and a belt. It came with stocking and shoes. By the way, I don't know if you know, but you can take the doll's hands off for dressing. Just put the arms and hands rapped up in a heating pad,. Let them warm for awhile. To remove them, be sure to pull from the ball joint that the hands are attached to, not the hand itself. The post comes right out, just push the post back into the fore arm after you have the jacket on.

Your restyles are incredible! Could not choose a favourite because I liked so many. About time they offered dolls of colour. I am not a fan of the light lipstick but that is easy to repaint. The girl with braids has the perfect makeup in my opinion.

I am considering the braids girl. I wasn't liking the light pink lips, but she has a hot pin, darker lips and that's a bit more to my liking.
