The package doesn't say what pound line it is, and I haven't been able to find out from my research. What I have been able to find out from experience is that the line that it comes with has a lot of twist in it on the reel, which will leave you fighting random wind knots and bird's nests.
@@Kaelland I think you’re exactly right. After using it more and more I would think it’s most likely 6lb line. I’ve since taken it off and put 8lb line on it and I never get those random loops and bird nests anymore. Thanks for watching!

I love this fishing pole. I ride a motorcycle to my spots most of the time so a pole i can fit in a backpack is a must. The reel is a bit cheap but gets the job done. I did end up replacing it with a better quality reel. Great video👍🏽

Ive gotten a few of those lures in just the 10 or 20 dollar boxes, but its not a bad thing i see people always complaining that they get alot of dupes from MTB but A. Theres only so many brands and styles of baits/lures on the market. And B. Youre gonna lose lures and baits. Hurts a lot less to cut a lure when its hung 12 feet underwater when you know you have another in the tackle box.

You should be able to go the their website and manage your subscriptions. If that’s giving you problems I suggest dm them on Instagram for a quick response. Hope this helps!

It looks like a great box. Sending the lures without the original boxes does make it harder to figure out what the value of the whole box is, still, looks pretty good.

You have a great personality for content creation and I look forward to what you do moving forward! Also, gotta admit, I don't use my crankbaits all that often either and my most success comes from the micro 1" crank. Edit: I also LOVE the Westin stuff I've gotten from MTB but it is pretty much impossible to get any of their stuff direct in the states. I got their ShadTeez Slim 4pk in a box and I caught many fish but have lost two of them snagging up so I've had to save the last two because I can't find them anywhere and they are incredible baits. I wish Westin would have more distribution in the US.
Same here. I have so many but I just never use them much. I appreciate the positive feedback that means so much! The Westin lures are so high quality and I almost feel guilty fishing with them they’re so nice😂 they be only ever gotten them out of mystery boxes. Never seen them anywhere else.

I have the same reel and it's funny just today I was trying to take the spool out for maintenance but could not get the side plate off. Pulled the pin but nothing is moving. Remembered having this problem when I first got it.
Hmmm I’ll have to watch out for that whenever it’s time to take the spool out
So I just got the side plate off. Pull the pin and then turn the side plate counter clockwise. My reel is left handed that my make a difference if yours is right handed. The video I watched to help me the guy pulled the pin and did not specify anything else. Hey good video despite no bass.

Use a size 8 hook, especially if catch an release! I have a zebco rod and reel I purchased like that. I am moving to Georgia from California in 1 week. Can't wait! Bread? I was planning to use red worms, except, bread would be cheaper. Which is best White, Wheat, etc.? LOL!
Yeah we didn’t really plan for it that well and I definitely didn’t have the best hooks lol. Oh nice! Yep we used some wheat bread just because that’s what we had on us. They loved it! If I had my preference I’d say some tripe of worm but bread is a great second choice.
