I’ve have the 2.2 diesel engine in my Jaguar. It’s whisper quiet & runs like a dream, not noisy at all. Very economical on long runs.

The 2.2 was like the 2.7 Terrible Engines

No mention of the charging depletion of battery which as we all know will not be 100% when it was new. E/V are just another government lie & in time the zero road tax will change along with the lower cost tariff for home charging as government & energy companies will not want to lose revenue. 😕

MG is not anymore owned by a British company. In fact is Chinese owned. You should not buy any Chinese owed product otherwise you give the CCP money to build weapons and fight the world including Taiwan, Russia to supply weapons against Ukraine.

I bought a 20 reg T-Cross two months ago. It's a wonderful car with plenty of room. I use mine for my horticultural businesses and there is plenty of room for tools and equipment for a day's work when the seats are folded in the rear. It's very fuel efficient, up to 70mpg on some of my journeys which is remarkable for a petrol engine. A galvanized body means it will last for a very long time so it definitely is a keeper. I can't fault the one I bought and think that the potential owner of your car will find it to be a good investment.

I saw a well known TH-camr get a 2016 Zoe with 35k miles on it for £4400 a few Months ago...... Get something like that, along with a decent off-peak EV tariff, and you've got commuting and general motoring for 2p per mile.....

You may like to add that this car also has the optional Adaptive Cruise Control which maintains the distance from vehicles in front my automatically moderating the car’s speed. It also shows the current speed limit in the driver’s instrument binnacle.
