Was this with Skyborne?
hey ellai m going for a cadet pilot exam and their are 2 stages ;online assesment(behavioural and quantative skills) and gd+personal interview.....please tell me how to prepare ik u have to type so much for this but ....................... thank you :)))))))))))))
Really helpful Thank you!! Do you know what the dress code is for Men during interviews?
Hi Ella, thanks for the video. I just have one question, I reviewed the Bbc page, but in terms of the exam specification, which would you recommend for math??
How is it going today? Are you a pilot?
math is important but i.l see you on holiday as an flying by lol keep up the good work and thank you for this video but you do not need GCSEs to get a PPL Nothing hard about it as long as you put the work in you get it....
realy usefull thanks
thank you so muccccccch
What kind of school did you go to?
I got interview coming up soon. Did you use any website to prepare for the assessment?
Hey Ella! I am scheduled for my aptitude test on the 17th, your video helps a lot! Any advice on what should I wear when I go there and meet the people? A suit or something more casual?
Did u pass?
@@abdirizakyasin I passed the aptitude test and the psychological exam but I did not pass the interview with Wizz Air.
@@CryptoDigger it's oky, i hope u do well next.
Really helpful thank you Ella!
My interview will be only 1 hour. So I don't know if there will be a group exercise at all?
Your videos are informative but they are WAYYY too long. Something that can be compacted in 10 mins would be great.
I definitely need a personal tutor and it definitely needs to be you. Over dinner. 😂 j/k good info
Really genuine advice found till date !!! Good work:)
If flying were safe, then pilots believe that nobody died in 911 by having airplanes fly through buildings.
Hey! Any update?
I aced my interview! Thanks for your tips!
Thanks so much this really helped ;), im just so worried because my vision being can’t be corrected to 20/20 even with glasses, and you need to have that as a requirement to pass the class 1 medical 😢, but I’m saving up for laser and imagine doing all of that by staying healthy and you get to the online application and they fail you, that’s my biggest anxiety lol. But hopefully all will go well 😌.
I'm only 13 and I'm stressing about this test in the future 😂. Already practicing.
Honestly, if you’re practicing now, you will be more than capable when you actually go and do it! Amazing commitment though, so inspiring that you’re already working towards becoming a pilot! Keep going! 😊
Man who has landed on Hudson river... said multitasking is a myth. ( his interview) but test are exist still. Look - neurobiology of humans !
Thanks a lot, Ella! This helped a lot!
Are you allowed to use a calculator during the test?
So cute and wise ❤️😍🇷🇴
How do I prepare for the interview? How do you know if you paired to an airline and what's the difference if not?
I have my interview in two days, Thanks a lot :)
Best of luck! I’m sure you’ll be brilliant!
pro tip: you can watch series at instaflixxer. Been using it for watching lots of of movies lately.
@Manuel Kyle Definitely, I've been using instaflixxer for years myself =)
When it comes to your exams, do you do all the topics then a load of exams, or do you do one topic then the exam, then move onto the next topic?
Hello! Apologies for my late reply! So I did 7 subjects at once and then sat 7 exams, and then learnt the second lot of 7 subjects and did the next 7 exams. So essentially I sat them in two sittings. With the EASA exams, you only have 6 sittings for all of your exams which limits your retakes if you fail them. Unfortunately, due to brexit I am not sure what the new procedure will be with exams, but if you contact the CAA I am sure they can help! I hope this has been useful! 😊
@@ellatheaviator5981 thanks for the reply, I was recently on a webinar with a leading flight school in the uk and they said they’ve recently changed the way they do things to make it a bit easier for the students. 5 subjects at a time and then 5 exams, three times over. I hope your training is going well and look forward to more videos in the future 😊
@@nathanmoss9802 that’s really great to hear as it was very intense trying to do 7 exams in one sitting! I promise I will try and get some more videos up for you guys soon!
@@ellatheaviator5981 brilliant can’t wait Ella, hope all is going well in your training
Aloha, thanks again for all your videos and advice. We chatted on the comment feed of your apptitude video a while back. So I made it into Flight school at air Gold coast here in Queensland Australia. I'm 4 weeks into my RPL and we have exams coming up in 2 weeks. Then it's on to PPL and then my commercial pilot license in about 11 months from now. Just wanted to let you know that I made it. And thanks again. If there's anything you've learned, tips and tricks. I'm always willing to learn more.
What universities do you believe are the best to apply to
Do you know any that are decent
Do you mean flying schools? I didn’t do aviation at university, but I know there are a few transferable courses you can study. To be honest, I would suggest going straight onto a flying course as none of them require a university degree. :)
Hey!!! Thank you for the amazing video!!!! I just have a couple of questions to ask you!!! So here they are: 1.After how long from submitting the online application will they reach back to inform us, if we've passed to the next stage(Aptitude Test) ? 2.After how long you are obliged to take the Aptitude test from the time you've received an answer to the application?
Hello! I’m so glad you liked it and thank you for reaching out to ask questions! 1. So, for the online application (first stage) it took a few weeks to hear back as someone had to read through my written answers, but after sitting the aptitude test (second stage) I heard back the same day! 2. With the academy I applied to they offered me different dates for my aptitude test, and I believe I had about 2 months to prepare for mine. I hope all of this helps! 😊
Hi Ella, hope you are doing well. We haven’t heard from you in a while. Some of your fellow student pilot followers would like to know how you are getting on with your training, especially since COVID19 struck! Any chance of a video update? Ta 🙂
Saqib Khan hello Saqib! I recently got some news so I will hopefully be making a video about it soon! Apologies for being so late with it, but I will put out a video for you guys soon! 😊
Subbed😁
Hiya, thanks for the video, I'm taking my aptitude test in 2 days and honestly I feel like throwing up already. I know there's a maths component but I didn't realize physics would be involved. Is there a practice test available? I can't seem to find one that I don't have to pay for.
I passed btw 😆
North Shore Living congratulations! That’s fantastic! Sorry for my late response, I don’t check my comments daily! What is the next stage you have to go through?
@@ellatheaviator5981 well incidentally I had my interview on the same day which I also passed, the next stage is getting my security clearance and taking a class 1 aviation medical and then bingo! Enrolment time. I start the course on OCT 18 😆😆😆
@@northshoreliving7094 Are you a CFI now?
@@StoneStraiff I am a CPL now which is what they call it in Australia
I would love to be a pilot, i’ve got all of the things right but my math is so horrible and it’s my downfall
Giannis Antetokounmpo honestly, if you keep working at it you will get there! I still have to really work on my maths, but with practice I’m sure you will be able to do it! I found that BBC GCSE bitesize really helped 😊
Hey Ella, May i know which flight school did you choose for pursuing your career?
Stop being so harsh on yourself by being Rhetorical.... It's okay to have bad editing skills You will get good at it as you keep posting more videos.
Haroon Khan thank you! I’ll make sure to keep that in mind when I make the next one 😊
thank you this helped a LOT
David Sturgess I’m so glad you found it useful! 😊
which airline are you studying
You sound very hopeful and good. I’m glad you did all in such a great way you hoped. JUST wanna tell your a dream that you may think strange but TRUST me, I’m so optimistic and hopeful to go. I did a degree in Social work in late 2017 and I did because my math was always a bad one and I went to an art degree just because of my math background But enthusiastically, I would almost certainly leave my classroom once I heard a plane noise flying in the mid-sky always watched until it disappeared and I still do even when I’m busy or on a rush because that’s the sound I always wanted to hear and I almost felt like I was in the cockpit and doing myself. I wish I’d do it 😊 and REMEMBER I was born in the middle of nowhere where even seeing a car was a distance dream. NOW with all the hurdles ahead, I want to get that wonderful dream back on tract and I am happy to tell you that I am doing some math and physics courses and aptitude practices as well. The good news for me is that I’m fluent in English and I guess that means a lot in aviation industry as well. I almost googled all the aviation related articles and videos on the TH-cam including your amazing video Now. So I have a question for you if you can help answer and help out, I’m really confused of math because I started like learning integers 😂 definitely I’m going back to school, my question is what type of math level should mostly importantly focus on and study hard because I just wanna save a time while doing my math courses. Physics is relatively better than my math madness. So pls share me your journey apart from this video and pls always kindly email me at this email or at least I need yours I’m wrong I guess at axmedabdi99@gmail.com
Hey do you have Instagram ?
Hello again Ella, please I have one last question. Please what is the pass mark for the aptitude test? Like the median pass mark? Thank you so much for your help.
For how long should you prepare for the aptitude test to go for it and pass? And what's the difference to be trained in an airline academy and a normal one ?Which one is the better?
Hello! So I think I prepared for about 1-2 months before my aptitude test, but I was working a full time job at the time so I mostly revised in the evenings and on weekends. I think it depends on your ability though, I hadn't studied maths or physics for a few years, so it took me a while to get back into it! At the academy I go to they train everyone to get their MPL or ATPL licence, some people are tagged by an airline, and some people aren't so we are all mixed together. I hope this helps! :)
Can you take a calculator to the aptitude test for the maths section?
Lilly Ayoubi it depends what the rules are for the academy you are sitting them with. I was allowed to bring one to mine, but a few weeks later they changed it to a non-calculator paper. I would recommend emailing the academy ahead of time and asking if you need one, and maybe just bring one along anyway just Incase. You can always leave it in the waiting room if you aren’t allowed it. I hope this helps! 😊
Thank you so much
Hi Ella, have really loved watching all your videos for the past year now. They are so informative and a good source of information for those of us looking to join flight school. Was wondering which school you chose? CAE? L3? etc. Thank you :)
Thank you for the informations.. u really organized and the quality of the camera is fine also 💯💯
Thank you very much! :)
Ella The Aviator would like to know which part of Math and physics I have to prepare for the interview to some cadet program in Europe .. highly apreciate 👩✈️
Do I need physics a level to apply for flight schools?
Hey, not that I am aware of. I certainly didn't study Pyshics for A-Level. It will definitely put you at an advantage as some of the subjects in Groundschool are quite maths/physics orientated, but I believe most academies only require GCSE level in the core subjects, but be sure to check the requirements of the academy you are looking at joining.
i have a pilot aptidude test in 3 months and aint havent done physics before
but i have general knowledge of it
@@amenchoudhury8036 What level of physics did you get up to? GCSE? That should be more than enough for your aptitude test, but it might be worth brushing up on the basics.
@@ellatheaviator5981 nope the only science being A level Biology,English, design and manufacture and gcse maths
@@amenchoudhury8036 ok, not to worry! Did the academy you are taking your test with give you an overview of what to expect in the test? For example, mine outlined that I had a maths and physics test section, and they listed some of the subjects I should know. The way I revised for this was to use the BBC GCSE Bitesize revision guides online as well as test my knowledge using online practice aptitude tests.
@@ellatheaviator5981 im doing my training in scotland in ACS aviation
Mis Ella actually I wanna ask u some thing.
DARVESH Punjabi please ask away!
Is there any app. Available where I could study pilot aptitude test to cadet program
DARVESH Punjabi hey! Not that I know of, but it’s is definitely worth a look. Once I had started my ATPL a few people downloaded the PPL revision app which seemed to help them a bit, although it wasn’t as in-depth as the actual content.
Ok, so, that means ain't any website or software available till yet.
DARVESH Punjabi there are definitely websites you can use, but I haven’t found a good app with all of the practice tests on yet! I’ll keep an eye out though!
