Our members include beginning and published writers working in many genres including, but not limited to: fiction, nonfiction, memoir, children’s literature, humor and poetry.

The Final Open Mic Night of 2024

This last Open Mic night of the IWN on HHI was in partnership with the Crescendo - An Annual Celebration of Art & Culture, part of The Office of Culture, Hilton Head Island. The night featured the two 'giant' poets Miho and Richard Garcia, who read several of their poems they have been writing together. This was followed by readings by IWN poets and prose writers to end the year on a high note!
IWN turns 25! The Venue was the site of the very first meeting in October 1999, B&N on HHI!
