I find the whole Georgian Shepherd argument retarded. Most people agree that this breed is over 2000 years old. Some even say Alexander Macedonian used ancestors of these dogs in his battles. This means the breed is way way older than the country of Georgia itself. It was popular in Caucasian mountains and Caucasian mountains don't belong to Georgia alone. So calling it Caucasian Shepherd is most accurate.
