    A Great tool, although I had to go back to the earlier 1.67fw for my maxduino as 1.76 screws up the Menu so you cannot change any of the settings. (I needed to switch on Motor CTRL for use on my Amstrad CPC). I wish I could have had the older firmware back though which allowed me to load all formats, whereas now it's split into 2 meaning either I have to reflash it or buy another to use on my BBC/Electron. (only reason I upgraded was because the original fw didn't allow me to hold the left/right buttons to scroll through the tape images, instead I had to press every time to advance which was really annoying, but in hindsight less annoying that not being able to load all formats :D )

    Great video mate. Bought the Aquarious joy pad from you a couple of weeks back, and it's brilliant. Just now won a Sharp MZ-700 on yahoo Japan, and will be ordering up your tape replacement solution for it, and the digital joystick adapter. Superb work mate. Would be great to see you doing some solutions maybe for some other Japan retro computers.

    Is there a standard rom upgrade to speed up loading like there is for the C64? For example the C64 epix fast load cartridge? Of course there are many ways to implement fast loading but I don't recall any discussion about a simple rom upgrade to achieve this from a digital tape emulator.

    • @YouMakeRobots
      @YouMakeRobots 3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Not sure a rom upgrade is necessary. On the Oric which uses the same firmware, I have test baud rates from 1200-3850 and that works very well. Rafael the developer of Maxduino has a companion tool where you can upgrade the files to run at 6000 baud.
