Hahaha bht shukria
As i am moving along with the podcast, i have so much to say about all of it, and so much to speak from my perspective, I can probably do a whole 3 hours podcast over this stuff. And listening such stuff, damnn bro, we are doomed to be fair, as long as we don't do anything.
Sir mein apko ek crazy baat batata hu, I did a minor in education ( choice ni thi, majburi thi), but let me tell you something. As long as Pakistan mn, people are not asked to have a basic teacher training or a minor in education ( let alone a B.ed), they shouldn't be a teacher. Kiunke, it's not about having knowledge of a subject, you should know how to convey the knowledge and more importantly, how to assess your student on the basis of the knowledge that you have provided and he/she has picked up. The easiest job to get in Pakistan is a teaching job, and this is the saddest reality of our country. Koi nai dekhega k apko parhana ata hai, sb ye dekhenge k course ata hai (wo bhi har jaga ni dekha jata). So, I study at thee University Of education, which was a teacher training institute until the university was made, and the name shows what the university is about but, would you believe, Phd professors, highly cited researchers, who are part of the teaching faculty, do not know how to teach. The smallest thing we can do to fix stuff is to make a B.ed mandatory for a teaching job, no matter of what level, and that should be alongside a subject degree. Is se ye bhi hoga k jinho ne waqayi interest se teachers banna hoga, they'll do it readily aur jinho ne ni banna hoga wo B.ed ki taraf jayenge hi nai. Is se B.ed ki ek izzat bhi hogi k logo ko pata hoga k bhai B.ed kr rhe hn tou kis liye kr rhe hain aur sath koi na koi subject ki degree hogi hi. I'd want you to come to my uni some day, jinho ne teacher banna hai wo B.ed ni kr rhe, jo B.ed kr rhe hain unko pata hi ni hai k unho ne kia krna hai. It's all so effed up, apko andaza ni hai. But yeah, thanks a lot khayyam bhai for calling ma'am to the podcast and enlightening us with all these things.
You are a inspiration for me also🙂🫶
