Here is a thought. What if Liz herself isn't in control? Rather it is this "Saint" power that is. This is why her actions seem inconsistent with her intentions. She isn't the one in control. She is the one being controlled. And since she is the first order subject being controlled by this power it can even shape how she remembers events. Others recieve similar treatment but the degree of separation lets them reestablish themselves after the control has run its course. Liz, as the host, cannot get away from it at all. How would that be for a twist? That the very power the Saint is supposed to be using to make the world a better place is acting as the true villian of the show?

Hey I know this is an old video but as a member of the pathfinder2e community I want to present pathfinder2e's Tarrasque. Its level 25, its spikes are a ranged weapon that can be shot out. Regenerates 50 hp at the start of its turn every round. Its specific regeneration lets it come back from death after 3 rounds, also nothing can deactivate the regeneration the Tarrasque is immortal. But good news there's only 1 that exists.

After all, for years now she's been told she's the Saint who will save the kingdom, due to a mutant rose. So, she's only developed an overly simplistic view of the world, and she believes it's simply not possible for her to ever be wrong. Anyone who disagrees with her (such as Alicia) is someone who must be either mind-controlled over to her side or eliminated, for the sake of the kingdom (and more importantly, for the sake of her being right). Naturally, Liz can use magic and her groupies to get her way, but if she were in this world, she'd be limited to recording herself having an infantile temper tantrum, and posting the recording on TikTok. 😝
