Seeing that you are highlighting different exhaust notes on the V-rod, why not post the name of each one? I like a couple of those, but I have no idea which ones they are because you failed to list the name of each one. Kinda pointless right?

The stock looking exhaust sounds great! Is that without Baffles?

The best sound I’ve ever heard a R3 make was with a pair of Revo 6” cannon pipes on it.

You aint heard nuthin yet. My top 2 would be Viking Exhausts or equaly as good Harris Pipes from New Zealand. Certainly up there and similar to the Carpenter Racing sound.

Most of these are pretty terrible. An engine that big should have a deep rumble, not sound like you have playing cards in the spokes.

I have a 1988 with the stage 7 , Hindle 4 into 2 full ceramic header system , 1998 front end with the 4 piston calipers each side on a 1985 front rim , progressive springs , super brace , Russel stainless lines all around , 65-watt low beam 165-watt high beam , Barnett clutch plates with a Barnett pressure plate ( this replaces the diaphragm spring with 6 coil springs ) , some fancy heavy duty English made throw out bearing , ported manifold's and heads & a light polish closer to a satin finish inside , Corbin seat , all of the factory options sissy bar , small crash bars for the engine , the tiny V-Max windsheild , Cobalt blue candy paint , frame braces , my custom swing arm that has a loop welded under and to the swingarm itself to stiffen it up ( with braces ) and a bunch of other performance parts , I have been building this Max since 1988 it is garage kept with 44,000 original miles , the bikes in this video are some nice clean examples of the mighty Max 👍

What's that first exhaust?? I went to the guy's page and it says Vance and Hines slash Cuts but the slash cuts available these days don't taper towards the headers like these ones do

I had a 92 model with Kerner slip ons.I removed the packing material and cut 2 inches off the baffle on both sides.The bike sounded incredible.

Nice Vid...@2:33 the pipes sound great, ( I'm guessing they are Banshee cores in them). @3:52 the bike sounds broken. And for some reason @6:14 ..... The engine's timing-chain or some-what .... is creating a wheezing noise when you release the throttle, hmmmm. I would go with @2:13 with the quieter cores, instead of the neighbor-hater Banshee's, lol That aside ....Stay safe.

Nice Vid Guys.... 1st would be @1:25 with the 2 into 2 , 2nd @6:00 with the 2 into 1, and 3rd @8:12..... The bike @9:16 sounded broken..... Mufflers should sound like very loud distant thunder.... not like a Braaapppp at start up like a two-stroke . Stay Safe.

Great mixture, ,,,,same exhaust on most of the Rods,just some camera's suck for sound. Best one for me was the last one,,,,,he gone!,,,,....as an owner of one,it sounds best in real life.
