To be honest, in all my travels through Thailand, I've never go to a city as 'old' as Hua Hin. It's practically a retirement home for Europeans and Americans. The population here is the oldest in all of Southeast Asia. You'll see mostly elderly Westerners on the streets; young people are a rare sight-and that goes for the service industry too. So, if you're looking for excitement, you're in the wrong place. Bars and clubs here close by 11 PM, and the women you'll find in them are mostly over forty. But hey, it is what it is: a laid-back seaside town where doing absolutely nothing is the best thing to do.

I enjoyed this night market when I visited.

Very disappointed - out of focus until the last 3 minutes. I am going there next month and there was no indication whereabouts in Hua Hin it was filmed. Liked the area , very much not the usual walkabout fodder, but still no idea where it was. Also no close ups to see menu's prices, resto's taxis massge places

wtf it's not delicious at all. unless you like 'Offal' pigs guts, tendonds, like, the worst parts of the animal. That's basically the menu of Asia. Horrid. I'm suprised there aren't more Vegetarians in Asia considering the quality of the 'god awful' meat on on offer.
