Our canine friend, Bilbo, and I headed off for a walk which overlooks Llandudno, North Wales, UK. It is known locally as the Nant y Gamar walk, but we did our own version of the route advertised on the Conwy County Borough website. The walk is mainly on delightful woodland paths, climbs up onto a small hill half-way around with tremendous panoramic views of the surrounding area including Llandudno, the Great Orme, Penrhyn Bay, the Little Orme, Snowdonia (Eryri)! A lovely walk on a good day! Bilbo had plenty of opportunity to explore his environment at a calm pace.
Bilbo was only off lead when I checked that it was safe to do so and always kept under close control as sheep often graze there. We spotted goats up there who had wandered over from the Great Orme. Such beautiful animals.
