I'm watching this from 2000, and it was amazing then and it's amazing now 24 years later. I got to see it live and It was goosebumps and still is.

Something I've noticed is that they keep fairly similar uniforms throughout the years.

I got to see Blast three times... Kennedy Center in DC, NYC, and Hershey, PA. It was an AMAZING show, and I wish it kept developing! That said, I also wish they kept Star of Indiana alive as a "feeder corps" to the Broadway production, ALWAYS loved their performances!

If any of you doubt that all male corps are the best I want to tell you about the Japanese Marching Band Association which has dozons of really ggod bands. They are comparable to drum corps and better than many corps. However, yearafter year the all male band named Soka Renaissance Vanguard is the top band in the country and they are extremely impressive. Check them out on TH-cam if you do not beleive me.

As you watch this you can see they won on hard work and discipline rather than a bunch of dancing like the BD's do and get top GE scores thay do not deserve.

Because they are all meal, they are the best marching corps in the history of DCI and I hope they stay all male.

The high school my Daughters marched for has done the kick out block for their final move every year for the last twenty-four years

They may have won all those percussion captions, but their books were very unmemorable. Just lots of fast rolls and paradiddle variations arranged in different ways year after year after year. Not very imaginative or exciting! As repetitive as those books were, though, they did play the absolute hell out of them and they deserve credit for that.

The birds in the backround unironically made this so much better.
