I try stuff and make things.
Can I use AI to fix my horrible sitting posture?
In this video, I try to fix the problem of bad sitting posture using AI. By utilizing Mediapipe and TensorFlow, I trained a custom classification model to detect my posture in real-time. Once bad posture is detected, my Python program sends an API request to a D1 Mini, triggering a servo to spray me as a reminder to fix that posture up.

Saving My Dying Plant with a DIY Automatic Watering Pot
มุมมอง 4072 หลายเดือนก่อน
I built an automatic plant watering pot using a D1 Mini (ESP8266) microcontroller, a water pump, and a custom Android application. With this setup, I can schedule regular watering times for my plants and even control the system remotely from my smartphone. 5/5 silly problems solved
Beating my heat with my biggest fan
มุมมอง 7613 หลายเดือนก่อน
I take on the challenge of beating the summer heat by building a portable fan. Using brushless motors and LiPo batteries, I design a compact desk fan that's perfect for staying cool. 4/5 silly problems solved
I tried making my door smart but failed

BRO THAT VIDEO IS CRAAAZY, I thought you at least have 50k subs
Pretty good video!
This is amazing XD I can't believe you only have 145 subs hahaha. Let's change that :D
Here's the code for anyone who's interested github.com/jimothytries/OFP
It’s me! I need this.
Can you provide the code??? This is very much need for everyone tbh
That's a great call out, will do!
Thank you, I truly appreciate your effort and time you spent on this for us :)
"AI about to squirt" is crazy 😭
How do you only have 108 subs dude this deserves like at least 25k subs, oh btw 109 subs now cause of me
Thanks, that means a lot!
10/10 video needs more attention
you need to raise your monitor height. It should be a suitable level for sitting up straight, or you end up leaning down for it.
Oustanding video, curiosity satisfied
KKKKKKKKKKKKK QUE LEGAL
super cool!
damn this channel is hidden gem
Fr
great video! (i watched the entire thing completely hunched over)
Thanks! (Typing this with perfect posture ;) jk)
How do you only have 70 subs this is super good
Im glad you enjoyed it!
Underrated
I appreciate it!
Bro that is gold. Incredible application of AI to control human behavior. Please share the repo for the posture detection. I want to replicate part of this on our security cameras, and it would be reallllly nice to not start from scratch.
Absolutely! Heres the repo: github.com/jimothytries/OFP There's a few moving parts in the code, but it seems like you might just need MediaPipe, which should be included in build_training_data.py
@ thanks so much!
@@jimothytries I think you should pin a comment in which you provide a link to this.
i will sub if you add a Moisture sensor which triggers the water pump once dryness level is reached. You know... for automation purposes.
Okay bet!
I’ve had the parts and plans for this project for over a year. I got so excited I had to comment before watching 😅
Yo that's awesome, it sounds like its time to let that project bloom 😉! I feel bad because I wasn't able to use the moisture sensor that came with the pump. It would have been nicer to rely on the sensor instead of a set range of days.
What the sigma

Good video but the audio is extremly unsynchronised with the video
Thanks man, yeah I've been having audio issues.
🧠🤏😑
That's not the only thing that's small 😏
you cannot become a part of the wright brothers beacuse they are already dead.. and maybe beacuse you edited you picture on the left,
You know what, you're completely wright.
do NOT change the letter H on M in the title😞
Don't worry I won't, not yet 😈
I like this ASMR
Good stuff bro, i was surprised when i saw your sub count 👍👍
Thanks brother!
not big enough.
That's what she said too :(
TH-cam algorithm doing good work serving this to me 🎉 I'm subscriber #43!
Glad you're here! 🎊🎊
That’s actually ur biggest fan
Much appreciated video....for fans
Thank you brother!
bro why your voice is SO soft!!
Yeah, I messed up and had a really loud clip in the video so audio normalization brought down the entire track volume.
beating your WHA- oh it says 'heat'..
I was hoping someone would notice that LOL
Best underrated TH-cam channel
Thanks man, I appreciate that!
agreed
Nice video!
Hey guys! I just noticed that the audio in this video is much lower than expected. It's possible TH-cam reduced the overall volume to normalize the track due to a louder section. I'm looking into how to prevent this in future uploads, but I'd love to hear any audio tips you might have. Thanks for watching!
@@jimothytries it's a nice video anyway. I love the effort and tinkering. 🫶💪
TH-cam does lower the audio to reach a certain level. A great way to make sure you don't have a lot of peaks and valleys is to apply a compressor to the audio tracks. Look up audio compression tutorials for your video editor!
@@PeregrineChurch Yeah I found that out the hard way lol. Thanks for the tips, I'll check those out.
BONE SHAKER 🗣🗣🔥🔥
🛻🛻💯💯😏
Now put a load cell under your mattress and have it toggle the light when you get out of bed
You know what, thats actually a better solution than what I had. I wish I had thought about that. Maybe for a future project 👀
I’m so excited to see someone new in this category making BANGERS right out of the gate. Keep it up, seriously. (Constructive criticism: check your levels. I watched on my TV ( with mid range speakers) and your voice legit shook a glass of water like Jurassic Park.)
An actual giga chad! Thanks for pointing that out, I'll test that out for the next one. I really appreciate the constructive feedback. There's always room for improvement.
A rumors say you have cheap smart lock, you can change the electronics of, and it will do what you need 👀
Thats true! Hopefully in a future project I can upgrade it and have it working better
Depending on your soldering iron you may just need a new tip to fix your issue with only one side getting got. Awesome project, great film! 😀
Oh great call out! Im considering getting some chisel tips and probably some tip tinner. Appreciate the feedback!
i was expecting this to be a big channel when i took a look after finishing the video, i was surprised to see only 18 subs. for a first video you did amazing!
Thank you brother, I appreciate it!
That a masterpiece for a first video! Not bad at all 👏
Glad you enjoyed it! Im hoping to make even better ones
Nice video, don't stop!
Thank you brother! Already working on the next one.
i thought this was allen pan for a second lol
Ill take that as a compliment, Allen Pan is awesome!
Your video feels very professional
I appreciate it!
I watched it just because I wanted to support new TH-camrs. But you have at least nice audio, so you would get success. Mostly later, than sooner. Do not drop it, bro!
And video, yeah. it might sound silly but people like to watch people. They do not really care how you solder something, so consider adding you as a subject in at least 50% of timeline of the video
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, moving forward I was contemplating on removing or at least reducing the soldering parts since it does seem boring, but your suggestion sounds like a good compromise.
