I had the exact same model in the late eighties and took out the baffles and that improved the acceleration and added an extra 10mph on the top speed. I got done for noise pollution but I didn't want to lose what I'd gained so I sawed the baffle of the ring housing and replaced the ring only and made it look like the baffles were in the exhaust and the next time a "copper" pulled me for noise I showed him the baffle housing ring and said its the model, they're just noisy and he wore it. Naughty but nice!

Super bikes are not built for comfort, they are race bikes that are street legal, some are easier to sit on than others, but they all hurt one way or another, its the price you pay to ride something awesome.

Best bike I ever owned

I owned one being a lifetime kawasaki fan and must say, i was quite impressed, getting 16 inch tyres( both front and back) was a little tricky when it came to choice/ availability but , as for the slated handling, i thought it was ok.

Top speed ??

I had a short ride on one of these with a power commander and definately a yoshi can but it might have been a full system and it was such a weapon and effortlessly quick. It handled really well at high speed but a bit heavy at low speed. I was on it maybe a half hour with no issues. Are they really that uncomfortable? I had no issues with a half hour and a handful of miles.
