Moonsetter - Toby Fox (current progress!!)

I still find this piece so jumpy and beautiful, it's far from my favorite piano piece, that'll always go to Clair de Lune. I really want to practice Clair more..
Undertale - Fallen Down
มุมมอง 122 หลายเดือนก่อน
I love this piece, it goes from peacefully curious to almost adventurous before settling in on the long jumpy staccatos and simple treble.. AND THEN IT FINISHES IN SUCH A CALM WAY.. Toby Fox AND UNDERTALE ITSELF r both just amazing..
Moonsetter - Unfinished piano
มุมมอง 52 หลายเดือนก่อน
This piece is so jumpy and fun! Despite it's name being moonsetter, I can't help but picture this playing as the night begins, after golden hour.. That pretty somewhat bright darkness above, and the moon staring back at me. Night time has always been my favorite time, and I love winter since it gets dark so soon..
peaceful nights

On nights like these, I look to the sky and see how bright it can be. Though I'm not sure, I always hope it looks back at me
Goal Pieces

My goal pieces and my current progress on them :) Nocturne Op. 9 No. 2: I really only started playing this piece semi recently (months ago!), but I love how fluid it is to play!! It's always fun to adjust how I play, striking different kinds of emotions in different segments. I didn't do my best playing it here, but I hope it's enjoyable nonetheless :) Ballade No. 1 in G Minor: This is.. VERY p...

Wishes are fun and all, but I don't want to just wish anymore
let me try that again..
มุมมอง 114 หลายเดือนก่อน
Made a small mistake around the end but i didn't stop :) it's a bad habit of mine to stop playing when I make a mistake, i recall my piano teacher telling me about it being a common problem pianist have when practicing I've begun reading into composition and it's helped me better understand timing & notation.. And it's very fun! Time consuming, but wonderful

@@Chris_Piano Thank you so much!! I have few in my life who speak of my amateur piano stuff so compliments always mean a lot to me ☺️
@dispydispel5652 Do not ever stop playing ! You are so musical ✨
Hi, I am so glad that I found you here and I subscriebed you 😊. You are so great 👍. A very nice piece. Is it difficult to play? Kind regards Alex.
@@contrabombarde3210 Thank you so much Alex!! It's quite a lovely piece, it's mechanically hard in some sections but easier in others! Though playing it meaningfully is the challenge mostly for me at the moment.. I'm trying to be more careful with the keys! :)
@dispydispel5652 Oh, thank you so much 😊. Maybee I will try it also someday. Have a nice day. Kind regards Alex.
@contrabombarde3210 No problem at all Alex!! :) I hope you do, maybe you can record it and I can listen! Up to you or course hehe but I'd love to hear! Equally kind regards, Nat!🩷
I wanna go home
Your piano was always my favorite melody
@@yeetskeet8051 Seeing you close your eyes and listen was what I looked forward to when practicing, nothing drove me closer to the keys than that
@dispydispel5652 i fear that i may never hear the melody again but in my dreams
@@yeetskeet8051 i fear the same thing.. Those notes won't sound the same anymore
Beautiful ❤❤❤Lovely 💟 💟 💟 💟
Nice cover!
Beautiful played 🌹🌹🌹
thank you very much, I'm still learning 😊
@@dispydispel5652 very welcome dear friend. Your playing is very good ❤️❤️❤️
I lost the second sheet :////
Incase somebody wanted context for who I am and why I'm posting these videos: I've never once touched an instrument or had any musical experience prior to 5 months ago when I started a class piano course at my college. I had interest in the piano in middle school and I was already saving up for one before I realized my campus had it's own course I could take I took the course and had a wonderful teacher who helped me n taught me the basics of reading notes, the piano itself with CDEFGAB, accidentals and key signatures time signatures, metronome help for keeping on beat, etc. Truthfully, my ability to stay on beat and count in my head sucks. I will practice it in the future but it's not a big deal until my sight reading/memorized playing can keep up or go faster than the best anyway. Sight reading has been my main focus so far. At one point during my class which has now ended as of January I forbade myself from looking at the keys as to familiarize myself with actively reading and translating. What you see in my videos is where I stand at that point in time with whatever I'm doing Admittedly clair de lune was one of the first pieces I wanted to learn only to fall flat on my face after realizing that I'm better off learning to sight read so I can actually learn it instead of memorizing where to put my hands. I recently picked it up after a few months and gave it a try and realized I could actually read after first two big dramatic parts. This is what you see in the video! Just me having fun trying to read it, though the fast part sounds horribly because duh I m slow it's progress none the less :)
YES IK I MESSED UP THE OCTAVA I WASN'T PAYING ATTENTION..
I swear I upgraded my phone the front facing camera must just suck
This is awesome! I can only play the drums so I'm always impressed by melodic instrument covers 😅
Thank u so much!! It's only sightreading so it's very slow with my brain processing everything but I'm improving since I started learning 6 months ago. I definitely want to actually practice this piece and play it though :)
@@dispydispel5652 yooo, if you only started sightreading 6 months ago, this is awesome progress already! I know it took me a while and drumming is a little different, but if you stick with it, that's gonna be an awesome skill to have! Congrats!!!
@@spearmintabyss tysm I rlly appreciate it :) I had a piano class 6 months ago that started me out learning the basics with like time signatures notes a bunch of notation stuff and timing which has helped me a lot but I've been going solo since 3 months ago and it's been a fun journey so far and I've found I rlly love the piano I've never thought abt playing the drums but it seems so fun, the only other instrument I've touched aside from piano has been my violin but that's gonna be a WHILE b4 i rlly sink time into learning that it's so diff
