My watch runs +16/day.I like mine, but I do not believe it was regulated at all, despite being advertised as being regulated in 5 positions by Long Island Watch.

Spot on review as far as I'm concerned. Totally agree about the critisism about the crystal but other than that a really lovely time piece!

My only gripe with this watch is the dial. The logo is beyond horrendous.

Islander is just an upgrade or better finish to AliExpress watches with their logo.

If Seiko did this as an SPB model with 6R movement, pressed indices, and aluminum bezel it would they would sell it for $1200. So this is a bargain if you don't care about the name.

I've watched many videos on youtube about this specific watch - you are the only one who actually provided information about this watch rather than repeating either the press release or the watch's manual. Thanks!

Great review! What would your recommendation be for the smallest and most comfortable (~ 43mm LTL) watch for a 6 in wrist? Could be a diver or sport etc....

Sapphire should not scratch..

Almost bought it, but the printed dial, fautima and logo/squale by squale held me back. I like the bezel, the case, and proportions. It's a nice watch but that dial just does not work for me.

Bought one sold one bought one again, sold it, and just bought the new blue one likely to never sell again 😂😂😂

Good review. Interesting take on the logo being replaced by the word “Islander”. I think the watch looks great as is, but I bet it might get a bump up in elegance if the logo was replaced by the brand letters. 🤔 Maybe in italics.

Size is amazing. Crystal is fine, less reflexions during day. Just wish it was a little cheaper. Like 100-200 pounds

I was going to buy a Rado Captain Cook until I saw this one for half the price. They look VERY similar. Great review! As someone else suggested, try the timegrapher at 50 degrees and see if that makes a difference!

U had the lift angle wrong its 50 degrees this could be why your getting 13 seconds fast its probably running a bit better than that... just an idea😀

You used a lift angle of 52 on the timegrapher. I’ve always used 50 with a Sw200. Could that make a difference in your reading?

Yes, a fabulous watch! Mine is my 1st Squale, and I love her. Have you seen the 3 link bracelet Marc now has available? I have your exact reference, and am about to purchase the bracelet.

Finally, a reviewer who has the same struggle with male or protruding end links that I do. 6.25in wrist here and unfortunately Protruding end links are always a deal breaking. I don’t even know why male end links exist. Female will always look better on every wrist.
