A new USB DAC and headphone amp coming
Music used by permission of Alan McPike StandardTrax.com from the UK. This was a test to find the appropriate settings to make TH-cam audio quality better from the previous version. Music and vocal is Cd standard 16bit/44.1khz.
This is the mixer that I own. Thanks for the tutorial. I’m boneheaded when it comes to tech and mixers. Some clear concise information here.

Finally the correct way to show the effects 👍. Saw so many videos and they always cracked it up.
What 's with the reverb?
The speakers are KEF 350's with a 6.5" woofers and concentric tweeter.

I have A yamaha MG 10Xu
How can i connect two computers , one to play a live stream on Blog talk radio and the other to play local music?
Thanks for posting. I have an old Sony PS-LX2 which I bought the summer of 1980 after my freshman year in college. I replaced it two years ago with an Audio Technica AT-LP 120x USB. I recently bought an Audio Technica VM540L/H cartridge/headshell combo to replace the VM-95E cart. It greatly improved the sound. However, I've always wanted a Dual or Technics turntable and I'm seriously thinking about the SL 100C and adding my VM540. I'll probably sell the AT turntable but will always keep the Sony since it was my first TT. I also have a Denon DRA 1025 125 wpc that I bought new in 1991 for about $1k. I still love it and don't have plans to replace it. It appears you are in Atlanta. I bought the Denon at HiFi Buys back in the days when they had multiple stores. Your receiver has a similar look.
Bonjour Oscar. Est ce que vous avez Le Yamaha Mixer TA7 professionnel et la possibilité de faire le tutoriel sur ce modèle s'il vous plaît. Pour brancher sur l'ordinateur et pour chanter merci d'avance. Bonne journée.
Thanks for sharing ❤❤❤
Beautiful! Fantastic turntable and sintara... love this.
Thanks it was very helpful Question caould we record on the computer or camera while singing Karaoke using Mg 10 x u
I should have also added that the isolation feet under the table are fully adjustable so you insure that you can get the turntable totally level very easily. It also has an auto lift at the end of LP play so as not to leave the stylus riding in the lead out area of the LP if you leave the room for some reason...a very nice feature. It is also a 3 speed table if you are collector of 78s.
This should be a better quality audio feed through TH-cam so you can discern the differences in mic quality. I would add that on female soprano vocals I have often used the RODE M1 as it is slightly warmer in sound. I should say that I used my Mackie 1402 VLZ 4 mixer with no eq or reverb and all levels were kept the same so you could compare mic output levels. The were all recorded into my Tascam DR40 digital recorder at 24 bit/48 KHZ sample rate.
Christmas Time Is Here The snow is all around us I always want you near me This special time of year. The Family gets together This special time of year My thoughts and prayers are with you Although I can't be near. Chorus Our love will last a lifetime... Our dreams can all come true... Next Christmas when I'm with you...Our love will be anew. Some dreams can last a lifetime Some dreams may not come true Next Christmas when I'm with you You'll know it all is true. repeat chorus and then the 1st verse
I sit and see a view, not knowing what to...Do I dream, another dream about you?
I just can't seem to find...A reason or a rhime...
I did mistake that the inputs are 1/4" and they are all 1/8" in and out. It also uses AA batteries and you might get to 2800 milli amp hour rechargeables off Amazon and save some money. If you want to record CDs you must set your recording menu to 16 bit/44.1khz rates which are the CD standard.
My late sister, Cathy, made this Christmas Village for us years ago.
Gain is for input gain or signal in gain, the house out is for pushing the volume up and down, , the level of FX is how much of that effect in present thats usable in conjunction with the main effect which is the master control neither has anything to do with gain, pan control or balance is not stereo or mono..
had the same mixer for the last 3 years just traded it in toward the MG12UX Which is 1000% way better how ever this is a great starting point or for those that dont need much
How is it that much better?
The chords fit so well... 😁 Great job once again!
Music for film.
Bravo. Great info
Is it possible to plug 6 synthesizers into this? Like can younuse the xlrs for synthesizers? I only want to use one mic and 6 synths thanks.
You can plug quarter inch in xlr
More film music.
Thank You so much
If you are looking for a good set of headphones I would recommend either the AKG K701's ($200) or the K612's at about $150. The 612's have more bass. Both are open back so you can hear things going on around you. If you need some closed back headphones then the beyer DT 770's for around $150 but are a little darker sounding and for people with good high frequency hearing. OPN a budget I would recommend the number one studio headp[hones of old, the Sony MDR 7506 for about $100 . All can be found on Amazon. The market is flooded with great cans in 2023 so go somewhere and find a good audio dealer if you want to audition some.
Remastered the audio.
The unit comes with a USB c Cable. You may need to download the driver for the Scarlett off the Focusrite website. This video was shot using a Zoom 2QN 1080P SDHC card camera. The new version does 4K.
Original composition.
Diane wanted me to try and put some of my music to it.
No audio needed here.
LP platter/motor is now playing the 1,000 hz tone at 998 and is stable. Excellent performance. It took about a week + to get here. I recorded the tone at 24 96 and played it back in NCH WavePad and looked at the FFT frequency display.
I have changed the phono preamp to an ART DJ Pre II and the sound is so much better than the preamp in my receiver. Luckily I have test LPs to be able to verify the improvement. The receiver does not pass 10KHZ signals that the turntable and cartridge can product. Sad but true.
I had been trying to recapture my singing voice yesterday so the reverb here is a bit much. Sorry.
Now up to 13 chapters. Two of my other books: The Dreamers and The Perfect School are up for sale on about 9 sites for purchase and down load, the biggest to a Barnes and Noble and Baker and Taylor. You can just listen to them on this channel if reading is not your thing.
You're a great reader. I really enjoy these. Thank you
cool that the frog found his voice
Great information and great video!
Thanks, not all inclusive (vacuum tube mics) but for beginners it might help them.
