Hello dear! nice version! I’m trying to learn to accompany it on harp, do you have any tips or advices? Special pedal markins, or notes I could skip and still have a beautful accompaniment?

First time to hear Gosia - I am enchanted! And the beautiful composition and arrangement, mixed so perfectly, as a fine setting for this exquisite jewel.

Wow! The elegance with which Malgorzata Zalewska played this piece cemented the enchantment under which she had left me with her performance of Danse Sacrée et Profane. Many people would disagree, pointing out several "mistakes" that I find to be improvements on the piece; I wouldn't change it in any way, rather I'd preserve the so-called mistakes as Malgorzata's version, her performance of one of my favorite pieces by Debussy.

This performance is the best performance I've found that satisfies me phenomenologically. I assume there are a lot of 'mistakes' that they committed, however they improve the performance in ways I want to preserve as the way the piece was meant to be played. It's as if nature intended to correct the execution of this piece.

echoing the common sentiment,,,in deliberating the most legitimate reason for arriving late for an important meeting, this piece would be a top candidate. I would claim that flight would not have been possible from the grasp of this beauty.....very appreciative of this lovely performance...

Magnifique!

When I listen to this I am overwhelmed with sentiments of loveliness and joy. I feel compassion for all living things, and want that all sentient beings feel the love radiating from my aura. It is as if a blanket of ethereal bliss is wrapped around me by an angel and I am instantly transported to an enchanted adolescence in which we all live amongst the tree tops of a magical forest, and we ride dragons, and phoenixes through out the starlit night sky... As if we were playing on constellations!

I love Debussy... And Zalewska-Guthman very well done.

I really loved the performance as a quartet in a church for this piece - i got to play it in an orchestra - and because of the acoustic of the church it almost sounds like an orchestra is playing with the harp :)

@Fuliginosus Don't let go. Music like this occasionally reminds us of what times were once like, even if we did not live in those times. This piece reminds us of better times in which the world revolved around the essence of life's beauty. Such things can only save us from what we live in now.

Sacre et Profane are the White Summer and Black Mountain Side of impressionism: they compliment each other so much that even though they each sound good, they sound ten times better together.

Whenever I want to listen to Ravel's 'Intro' I return to this post. The performance and acoustics are great. Perfect for Ravel.

I think she sings this beautifully as well.

Yes, I hear the missteps as do the other commentators (its LIVE!) but it is overall wonderful to hear this piece in such a live acoustic space!

Yes, Gabriel Faure wrote it for mezzo, it is an original version. And sounds different to light sopranos. But both are good.

Intense ensemble! Who cares about the slips! I envy the audience present, and to hear the harp in this venue must be pure ecstacy. When Stravinsky was asked what Ravel piece he most liked he didn't say Daphne and Chloe - with conviction he said ' Introduction and Allegro.'
