Great information. How’s the build quality? I wanted to buy a portable light; G400 or X100 or any other. I want to go for the one with better build quality
Great question, I think you meant G300. The. Constitution is very durable, I had no issues with my testing. As for the x100, I have not tested that light yet. But as far as I know they are both great options.
The video just seemed to fly by, there's incredibly well thought out pacing here. It's really inspiring, and a lof of showing-not-telling as well; super helpful for understanding. Thanks for making this! Easy new sub.

For how long can the light can produce 500W on that max setting?
Great question, I don’t really know. I ran mines for couple hours and nothing turned off. The fans did get quite loud. But haven’t ran into an issue yet.

@zacharysilva I use to be asking brands early on, but now it’s too much. Now I either turn most of them down, or send them to my agency. I use FilmmakersAgency and I love it.

Filmmaking on TH-cam is virtually impossible. A very small number of people are able to do it - usually by being so damn prolific and focused, shout-out to my man Joel - everyone else just has to resort to gear reviews, or essays, or filmmaking guide videos (and I'll include myself in that). Almost impossible to get anyone to watch a Short Film going in blind on this platform, let alone a feature. Hopefully, the platform changes someday and people actually get interested in watching films on here or the algorithm starts pushing them, but I won't hold my breath ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

It would be amazing if you could demonstrate practically how to decide which music fits where, how to set the mood of the video, and how to use risers and other sound effects like foley and wooshes. I have Dehancer but I discovered recently another Film emulation that's much better, it's called "FIlmbox (Video Village)". But it's really expensive tho....
It's trends. They come and go. It all looks good when done right and of course it is all about style, how you want to edit and really, preference. Story is where it's at. I agree, try new things and see what works and how it works. Shoot as much as possible and learn. Great content!
