Im having the problem of creepers exploding before I can kill them even though there is only a half slap gap just like yours, is there any way to prevent it? I tried putting it in water so it would stop destroying everything but they just swim up and bust the walls out

If it's not work then try this: on top of this build u can replace torches with slabs 😇
It didn’t work they just instally died when the mobs fell down!! i did this in survival and had to take it all! down to make a new one!

Could you not just build it 1 block higher so they instantly die from fall damage and there loot gets collected in the chests automatically?
No because then u can't collect xp 🙂

Nice tutorial very helpful🙏 only thing we don't have to watch you place every block so cutting it would be nice and 1 torch lights up a 7 block radius enough for no monsters to spawn so you do not need that many
