I've always heard a good theory that the Antitrix's 4 antennas that stand horizontally link the watch to Ben's Omnitrix and grants Kevin access to Ben's aliens. Any aliens Ben lost access to were shuffled to Kevin's Antitrix.

This is always going to hit hard as everything the DCEU was building up to post Snyder 2018 will go nowhere. None of it will matter. I'm just thankful we received the Snyder Cut as it brought some closure to me.

We'll likely never know as the franchise has been gone for three years but if I were to come to my own conclusions, I'd say it was a mix of many factors. Getting nearly taken over by Zs'Skayr, Loss of Feedback, Danger it brought to loved ones, and an overall nostalgia for a normal life.

One of the biggest problems of the franchise is Ben seemed to have almost no life outside the Omnitrix and his hero duties. His only friends seemed to be Gwen, Kevin, Max, and Rook. It seemed the only thing outside his hero duties were Sumo Slammers, Mr. Smoothy, Burger Shack, and Undertown but they all connect back to his hero activities.

What about the ex-plumber gone corrupt? I don't recall if he ever appeared again, but I'm thinking there's no way he could have survived in that dimension. Also when Vilgax first attacked Ben he destroyed some buildings and it's safe to assume some people died there.

Shoulda kept the mythology that he spoke about intact and allowed for Black Adam to cross over with Captain Marvel.
