dude it's just physics, through a phone u can't feel the difference, u can only hear different tones but not the quality

holding a bow thats a thousand pounds is crazy, how you gonna keep the bow steady to aim the arrow if its that heavy?

I practice the notes with my eyes closed. I don't know if its correct, but with this tecnique i teach my fingers where to fall and my ears to identify if the note is on tune.

also try using tapes on the notes you can’t get then slowly try to not look at the tapes and in a few weeks you can take them off!

Just like my violin playing sounds much softer and relaxing during my personal practise session. But it sounds badly and stiff while playing in front of my teacher😅

Students practice until they get it right. Professionals practice until they can’t get it wrong.

As ever great vid. I don’t find ricochet over 4 strings that hard and your vídeo is very clear on how to do it. But i struggle with say two notes on one string and three on the next like in kreisler’s danse espagnol towards the end. I guess it’s a matter of keeping losoe as you sugest. Not something one can practice slowly? There is also a difficult bit in Zigeunerweisen that has even more notes.

So true… all the practices are amazing and yet we somehow fumble in the finale. The key is to play it off like it was intentional!! :)

This is why people often joke that the better the final practise goes, the worse the performance lol. Atleast in Finland
