@avionserrao7943 I'm so sorry to hear this. Yes, they are overpriced because they know that no one else has the stuff they do. A lot of expats & foreigners visit so they tend to give them more attention. I just go & buy whatever few things I need. Even cheap Jack that used to keep decorations earlier, was so overpriced. Most places in Bandra are. I find Andheri market stall & Crawford market (thou haven't been there in ages during this time) are cheaper.

They do have now I've heard. I normally visit a regular farm for strawberry picking since about 15 years. He doesn't do tours but since I've been buying fruits & veggies from him since many years, so get access as I'm very careful too.

Sadly the gov hasn't bothered to protect these sites. Many were destroyed in road projects. Few villagers have enclosed sites that are part of their property & protecting it. I had to keep telling the kids with us not to walk on them. We were careful & moved along spots that had no carvings.

Just like most vegetarians who love & consume milk but ignore the abuse behind the dairy industry. Humans have eaten meat for as long as we've been humans. It's absolutely possible to love animals, respect them, and eat them. I think it's odd that an individual would call themselves a humanitarian without considering where/how their clothing, electronic and other consumer goods are produced.

God has gifted humans with beautiful mind where we can love care respect and spare them or we can simply take away their life completely. Choice is always our what we do with this beautiful mind. We got best possible alternatives to survive satisfyingly. Coming to my personal eating habits am vegan. God has made beautiful eco system for all. If we see carnivorous animals eat other animals but they do not eat anything othr than that like leaves fruits pulses or othr what herbivorous eat. Being human we eat animals and othr stuff lik pulses green leafy fruits dry-fruits and othrs too. Our human body system is perfectly made for satvik food & thats why we rely upon plants and trees for survival. Yes your point is absolutely very concerning cows been forcefully impregnanted for dairy products and othrs. Even its vry much concerning where lot othr animals been killed and skined them for our othr needs like leather bags wallets shoes belts blankets make up kits medicines and othrs. I request all please atleast give second thot on all. Choice is always ours what we do with this beautiful gifted mind. But, if not we then who can. E-rickshaw where? From which location? I haven't seen any & went in my personal car. One can go by train till Palghar. There are buses from the station to Hamrapur phata. From there you will get share auto.

Yes, you can take kids to Gulmarg. They will enjoy, esp snow activities. Carry proper winter wear like thermals, woolen socks, caps, gloves, jackets & good firm footwear. The ice can get very dangerous & slippery. I've had a few falls myself earlier. Avoid phase 2 as oxygen can get very low, causing dizziness & breathlessness. And make sure the kid doesn't run around. Oxygen is lower in winters & any form of strenuous activity can cause breathing problems & also pass out. Just take these precautions & you will enjoy. Also stay hydrated.

Nov would not be possible to see waterfalls as the ones there are mostly monsoon based. With the rains over all waterfalls have reduced or completely stopped now. The only rental bicycles I've seen are the double tandem ones that are used for short rides. Club Mahindra has bicycles for hire only for its guests & members. On my earlier visit when I went with my school friends, we stayed at Hill top hotel. Nice budget friendly place. Plenty of eating options at the main junction.

Honestly, in Kashmir it's difficult to say. As every season is so unique & beautiful. Winter was always a favorite, but then I saw Autumn and was spell bound. Spring I love cause of all the flowers & this year finally saw Summer & even though it was so hot (I dislike heat) I couldn't help but marvel at my favorite lush green landscapes and enjoy the many beautiful valley's that are otherwise inaccessible during the rest of the year.

There's a very small restaurant with basic food just at the entrance gate. Auto, you many get sometimes outside. Main road is few kms away. I can share an auto drivers number, that I had met the day I arrived by bus. He was reasonable & also close by to CM. The day he couldn't come, he sent his friend. Drop me a dm on any of my social media accounts & I'll share his info, since it's not right to post personal numbers on a public platform. He's reliable & very good. He even took me good local restaurants, when I told him what I wanted to eat. I carried back & had it in the room.

End Oct meh thandi start hogi. Pichle do dino se Kashmir ka mausam abhi change ho raha hai. Thandi shru ho rahi hai. Meh bhi end Oct se mid Nov tak gayi thi. Kafi tandi hoti hai us time.
