It is important for everyone to realize that there is a significant portion of the population, especially those 45 and younger, who steadfastly refuse to listen to, much less even consider anything related to the concepts outlined in this video; they hold onto all that is amiss in their lives like it is a favorite teddy bear and they are still 5-y-o. Forgiveness is a state of consciousness that "naturally arises" via understanding. Per your verbiage: the grace of God (this grace naturally arises from within via presence) & it comes with profound associated wisdom. It's not necessarily a black & white choice. It's a process that happens from within via (inner work).

What a symbolic situation! It looks like Dr Joe is explaining the teaching in a wonderfully compassionate and empathetic way. The place, however, to me one of the great symbols of human ego, is just the perfect location, to manifest the present shift of consciousness into being. Right at the heart of one of the institutions that has been cutting off human beings from divinity for so long. The seed, the spark planted! I appreciate Fr. mentioning GRACE to help us see and respond to our perceptions of reality. It occurred to me that the brain isn't always the record of the past because personality also seems to consistently direct our responses. I have observed in children, how automatic some dispositions and responses are, and young children have very little 'past'. Now I am wondering how much of ourselves we really control.
