How To | Brick Stitch Around A Hoop | Featuring Beebeecraft Circle Studs
Hello Fellow Beaders!

In today’s video I’m featuring 18k gold plated simple circle earring studs by Benecreat. These came in a 20 pack and plastic organizer. These are absolutely gorgeous and can be worn as is but of course I had to bead with them!

Need help please! I keep macrameing a bracelet for my grand daughter out of cotton waxed cord. When I finish it with a slip macrameing closure it is breaking the main cords of the bracelet. Hello! First of all, great help!!! It´s very hard to find the best cord and suplier. I´m portuguese and didn´t know the portuguese shop you mentioned! Will definitly check them. Which leads me to a question, the last cord is it Linhasita? I find very hard to hold the knots with the malka threads and the nylon ones. Also, the pieces don`t get a shape. They tend to fold if you know what I mean. Is there any trick you can share besides hold very firmly the knot?
Hi Andreia! Thank you, I’m so glad the video was helpful. I think I know what you mean about the shape and I’ll try to make a video with tricks and tips. The key to successful macrame is tight knots so I’ll go over that in the video as well. Thank you for the video idea!

Your video is wonderfully instructive, very helpful for beginners and I applaud you for sharing. With all due respect, however, your nails are unappealing because there is gunk under under them which is magnified in the video. Your hands and nails are the stars of your show - please get a manicure before you record another video.

what thread do you use?
For my beaded earrings I use a combination of Fireline 6lb cord with Nymo D cord. For my macrame bracelets I use nylon cord called S-Lon or waxed polyester cord. All of these are available at most bead stores. Check out my video called Macrame Cord 101 for links and such. Cheers!

Hi Beth! Thank you for your kind feedback. My two favorite cords for macrame jewelry are nylon cord, check out micro-macramejewelry.com. Waxed polyester from Linhasita (you can Google this and find it anywhere) or from Malka Jewelry (type this into Etsy and find their page). Wish you all the best!
