For a healthier cheese hack, buy blocks of cheese and shred it yourself. Pre-shredded cheese contains a non-caking agent, and prevents consistent melting from what I have noticed. You were saying you wanted to shop more healthy foods for your family, I applaud that!! Sometimes it's hard to know where to begin. I would encourage you to learn to read ingredient labels carefully.For example, pre-shredded cheeses almost always have added non- cheese ingredients, and in many healthy sounding products there can be added sugars that one wouldn't even think would be in that type of product. Your family is blessed to have a mom that cares enough to learn about and practice healthy eating❤
