i don't mean to disrespect but you're really not giving any valuable information to what any of these metrics are. The phrase "you know all these sort of mathy sciencey data sciencey type things" really doesn't help explaining what are the functionality of these metrics and features. If you don't know the software then don't upload a Demo video on it.

This is so interesting since many are hoping that insurance will be the solution.

But meanwhile lets punish the people that are victims of ransomware with penalties. And let's threaten people who are immune from our threats so we look good on TV. It always kills me when I hear people saying that they don't do DLP, because they don't know where their data is, that they have no idea about the classification of their data, or the worst one: DLP is too difficult. How can threat actors figure that out in much less time, with much less effort? 🤯This should no longer be an execuse. Great episode @chase.

Well said, we do really need to become better as a community, Unfortunately, the harsh reality is that many targets have been illuminated in the worse of many possible scenarios and a precursor of more malicious activity. As we learn more they were not just in the core assets they were embedded in the red team's tools code and Kali Linux & Powershell scripts. The real test will be how FireEye and our Government get off their heels and put out the fires. Or is the cat already out of the bag?
